Okay, so almost all fans are head-over-heels for Sans, so the first one here will have him in it. Although with all the stories I've read, none of them have had anything like this so, here you go! Have fun! Also, remember that I don't own Undertale or the characters.

Sans wondered towards the door at the end of Snowdin. His break had started so he decided he'd waste his time practicing knock knock jokes alone. Good humor doesn't come easily, you know. Besides, unless Papyrus checked in on him, his bro would think he was working.

On the way, he noticed a large branch had fallen in the middle of the path. Maybe someone else will notice and fix the place up, he thought to himself. Usually things like that didn't happen. It was a safety hazard for monsters who may be walking alone. Like Sans right now.

He reached the door and knocked. "Knock knock," he said as the jokes normal routine.

Who's there?

"Nobel."

Nobel who?

"No bell that's why I knocked!" He laughed at himself, knowing others would probably just roll their eyes.

He knocked again. "Knock knock."

Who's there?

"Police."

Police who?

"Police let me in it's cold out here!" He howled in laughter at this one.

For a second he thought he had heard something from behind the door. No one has lived there for a long time so he shrugged it off. Maybe he was lonelier than he had thought.

One more joke. Just one more, then he should leave. He decided he should take the day off and spend it at Grillby's. That way he wouldn't be alone while Papyrus does whatever it's time for in his schedule.

He knocked on the door one last time. "Knock knock."

"Who is there?" A woman's voice asked from behind the door.

Sans jumped, his eye glowed a yellow/blue a second before dying down to normal. He smiled. The woman likes jokes so why should he freak out. "Uh... Woo," he continued.

She giggled, "Woo who?"

"Don't get so excited it was just a joke," he laughed and held his gut. She was laughing too.

"Oh, wow," She said after a while. Sans knocked again.

"Knock knock."

"Who's there?"

"Dishes," he didn't even hesitate to think of something.

"Dishes who?" The woman pondered the answer.

"Dishes a very bad joke." Again, they both cracked up.

"Okay, okay. My turn. Knock Knock," She softly pounded on the door.

"Heh, who's there?" Sans was ready to hear what her jokes were like.

"Old lady."

"Old lady who?"

"Oh! I did not know you could yodel!" Her laugh was quiet at first, Sans noticed. Probably waiting for his reaction. It didn't take long for him to heave over in laughter. They continued sharing these jokes for what seemed like hours.

"Wow. Heh, you know... my brother is probably waiting for me at home. He gets a little cranky without his bedtime story." He said finally, a little disappointed to break things off so early.

"How sweet of you!" She cooed at him, making him blush slightly. "Would you mind me asking your name before you leave?"

"I'm Sans, Sans the skeleton." He stated in a proud-like manner.

"It was nice to talk, Sans. I am Toriel, caretaker of these ruins."

"Yeah, I had fun. Bye Toriel." Something about Toriel made Sans feel like he needed to come back. Although, Sans isn't the desperate type. He figured he'd just do the same thing tomorrow around the same time. Hopefully she'd come back too.

They said their goodbyes and he headed down the path towards his house. Taking the long way one time wouldn't hurt too bad. When he made it to Grillby's he was interrupted before he could make it inside.

"SANS!" Papyrus cried out from behind him. "Where were you? I was so worried!" He swooped Sans up in a tight embrace.

"Sorry, bro, I was just listening to some adoor-able jokes." He chucked and was dropped to the ground.

"WHY SANS!?"

Sans didn't respond to his brother. He didn't really feel like talking anymore so he just latched onto Papyrus, hoping he'd carry him. Papyrus got the hint right away and soon enough they were on their way home, his brother grunting and mumbling under his breath about puns.

Toriel couldn't leave Sans' mind though. What did she look like? How did she live and eat? What her life style is like and her clothes, her magic and age. None of that would ever cross the small skeleton's mind if he had only seen her.

If he was able to shake her hand he would even know the deepest of her secrets. He isn't sure why but Sans has more magic than King Asgore himself, yet he chooses not to use it nor show it. But he could probably make an exception for Toriel if he only knew her.

The next day came fast and Sans rushed in a lazy was to meet her. Using his shortcuts he quickly checked in at the sentry station and found himself as the door again. He was earlier today than yesterday and really eager to hear her voice again.

So he knocked on the big purple door with the kingdoms symbol on it. "Knock knock," he said boldly.

He waited a moment to no reply.

"Uh... snow," He continued the joke.

Snow who?

"Snow way I'm waiting out here! Its too cold!" He laughed at himself but cut it short when he realized that he is waiting out in the cold. After a few more jokes he quickly became bored of standing around waiting. So he sat against the door instead... And took a nap.

What woke him later was a loud pounding on the door. "Knock Knock?" Toriel was back and waiting for a reply.

"Who's there?" Sans shot up and asked, his voice deeper and louder from just being startled awake.

Toriel giggled quietly to herself. "Boo"

"Boo who?"

"Don't cry it was just a joke!"

With every joke they laughed harder. Sans couldn't help but fall in love with someone who was as childish as he is. Everything just felt so perfect in this moment. It made him feel peaceful and relaxed, like he can actually be himself. He doesn't have to feel worried all the time.

Im sorry if this one kinda really sucks. It was fun to write at first but im bad at jokes and don't really ship them as much as some. I decided to end it here for now but idk, maybe I'll continue it if you want. Just make sure to ask if you really want me to or I'd probably never do it.
