It all started when Becky made a joke, of Lucas & mark liking Charlie, but that joke left Charlie thinking. Thinking a lot. In class she would always laugh at Lucas' jokes and comments without even realizing it. Becky noticed and Becky knew. Mark would always go out of his way to get Charlie or to tease her in a joking way, again Becky noticed. In class, Charlie, Lucas & mark used to share looks. But not just any looks, the looks you give when you secretly like someone but pretend to be embarrassed when really you have a crush on them. Becky didn't let Charlie know about her observations though because she knew that Charlie would stop being herself. Becky was such a good friend to Charlie and especially in knowing Charlie's feelings even when Charlie had not yet woken up to herself.
