The next day, they all went to history class, same seating place as the last; Becky then Charlie, then diagonally next to Lucas and next to Lucas, Mark. They chatted away as good friends. Mark awkwardly said out loud to our group, "so who do you think would be a cute couple?" Becky and Mark shared looks, evil looks. Suddenly, Kyle butted in, "I think Lucas and Charlie"!!! Charlie glared at Kyle knowing completely why he did that, (because he knew about the crush). Everyone around us agreed, while Lucas and I looked at each other shaking our heads, while blushing and turned away. We both tried to change the subject, while Kyle, being Kyle, made a bad JOKE (that was kinda true....) !
"Hey Lucas, Charlie likes you." Kyle rudely said. "What a lie, Kyle" Charlie defensively replied, her face gone red. Lucas blushed at Charlie and Charlie blushed back. Was this awkward blushing game all they will ever have? Charlie and Lucas dreamt about each other but never knew how the other felt.
((** next day ))Charlie received a text from an unknown number. She texted back asking who it was and then replied back with hey it's Mark.
