I was really nervous about my first day. I didn't want them to hate me.
I thought these words to myself as I headed to the bathroom.
Why do I like mornings? A good question, one that I honestly don't know the answer to.
I stand in front of the mirror and look at my naked figure.
"Fuck, I'm ugly" I say aloud.
I took a quick shower and dried myself off. Standing in front of my full length mirror in my closet, I changed into my school uniform.
Since I still didn't know how to drive, I plucked a granola bar off the counter and made my way to the bus. Chewing as I walked.
Getting of around the corner from school I continued walking the rest of the way. As I get closer to the school I start to see the gate. It had magical twists and turns of metal decorating it. While the quad was a spectacular view to look at, with lush green grass and trees. When I make my way inside I see many groups of kids. This is what I'm afraid of, not finding a group to join, somewhere that I belong.
As I'm about to open the front doors to head to the office I hear someone pleading. I quickly turn around and look for the girl I hear. Finally I see her, she's surrounded by populars. That means they think they can get away with anything because their rich. They were tormenting the girl.
I quickly push my threw their circle and pull the girls arm. I pull her out of the circle and tell her to get away from them. She listens and goes the other direction without a word. I turn around and stare at the "leader" of the group.
"What do u think ur doing," the girl yelled at me.
"What's right. Bitches like you bug the shit out of me. U have no right to bully that girl or anyone else for that matter," I said coming closer to her.
"U don't have a say, mutt,"she threw back. Trying to push me, but I stay locked in my spot, not budging.
I smirked at her and said strongly, " oh really, look around u," gesturing towards the group that once stood in a circle around me. Everyone was backing away, " I'm going to guess no ones stood up to u before, huh?"
"What makes you think you can?" She said.
"He's right," somebody behind me yelled.
I turned around to a boy behind me. He looked at me for a moment before turning back to her. When I turned back to look at her her mouth was open, she looked at him in disbelief.
I don't really care why he had decided to join in, but I needed to go before I was late. "Get the message now?" I asked, then turned away from her and the boy that was still glaring at her.
