Luke did come back later on in the morning as promised and Andre was the one to disappear, not wanting to be in Luke's presence. He had been labeled as a bad influence once and Luke's opinion hadn't changed much. Owen arrived soon after, Terry never followed him around me anymore. His guilt was easily felt, even after all this time and considering the beating I gave him I wouldn't want to risk bringing on round two.

Cam looked beyond angry and Mandy was the only relaxed one in the tiny apartment space as all sat around staring at each other. So much for working this out.

"Lucy, tell us what you did last night" Luke finally spoke, sounding as calm as Mandy looked. Licking my lips I coughed awkwardly, curling my feet up underneath me I hoped the sofa would swallow me whole. Mandy took my hand, smiling reassuringly which only had Cam glaring at her and narrowing my eyes at him he backed down.

"Well, when I escaped a couple of years ago, I was being taken to his actual home and talking to Andre he found an address to some other place a couple of hours away that his sister had gone to when they were hired. One that no one had looked at before" I paused as Owen growled and Luke threw his head back against the lounge.

"You went to look with Andre without telling anyone where you were going?" Owen snapped, clearly not a huge fan of Andre either.

"We were just looking" They all opened their mouths as if to say something but didn't. "And the two girls I'd seen from the club and at the apartment before Antony came around were in the house so we watched them for a bit before going inside"

"How did you go inside?" Luke asked doubtfully.

"I knocked on the door. The third one said they'd been expecting me and that Nik had told them I'd come"

"And you still went in? What if that was a trap?" Owen demanded.

"I had Andre as well and you know how handy I can be with an axe. But they were useless and I know it was stupid but I had to know more" I told them about the rest, leaving out the office. "So I sent him a message too and they're all still there waiting for him to come back"

"You killed them?" Cam asked horrified.

"Well, one of them. The marked one. Andre did the other two" He shook his head and looked away as Owen and Luke looked as if they were having a silent conversation between themselves. "But I'll claim them all to keep him out of it"

"And your mark Lucy? What about that?" Luke asked, looking at my wrist which I had kept hidden with my oversized jumper.

"What about it?"

"Andre told me you were suffering last night and I saw it just before you sat down. It looks fresh, unhealed"

"Aren't you Sherlock Holmes then?" I couldn't help but feel defensive about it and I didn't know why.

"Lu, what's going on?" Mandy asked softly, and I let her lift my sleeve for her to see it looking like her own. It gotten worse since last night. "It looks like mine"

"How is that even possible?" Luke wondered out loud.

"So ah, who is ready for a holiday? Let's get the hell out of Dodge!" I enthused, standing I quickly pulled my sleeve back down like it was a dirty secret I didn't want to share. In some ways, it really was and only Mandy offered a laugh in response to my suggestion.

"We can't leave Lucy" Luke stated matter of factly.

"Why not?"

"The only thing I can think of is tell Antony and he can deal with Dominik" Luke admitted. If Luke thought I was transparent, so was he and I leapt over onto the sofa beside him.
