IMPORTANT!
Although Junjie was the Dark Slinger for 20 years in the actual story, in this story he was only the Dark Slinger for 10 years.
In this story I will be writing Junjie as though he is a 16-19 year old. This is because I think that as the Dark Slinger he was completely out of it and did not grow as he would have physically or mentally. This comes from him not knowing how long he had been the Dark Slinger or what he had done.
This book will contain Mandarin and Cantonese. Translations will be found in italics after the sentence. Also, I am aware that Junjie speaks Cantonese. However, since his name is more Mandarin, I will write as though he speaks both.
My spelling alternates between American and British so I apologise in advance for any future confusion.
