Prologue:
Lia and her friend, Peyton, live in an orphanage in New Jersey. Orphanage Sunshine, that’s what it’s called, but really it shouldn’t be. There is nothing but misery in the orphanage and their ‘mother’ is a dictator.
So you could imagine that when both friends were 18, how much they wanted to leave, but they didn’t.
They waited for their friend McKenna, and since they stayed, they helped around, giving the orphanage children a motherly figure. When there human friend, McKenna, finally turned age, they decided to leave, to the good old Golden State.
