☆Bobby's POV☆
I stepped foot out of my car into my new school and noticed I was missing something,
Charley.
Not every school had a Charley, I really wish they did though. I knew school was going to be very different without my two best friends. But I mean it is high school, so why not make the most of it?
As I wave good-bye to my mom I could see how similar this school was to my old one in Florida. So this is how it goes..
I walk in, people greet me but never say one word to me until the end of the year when they ask,
"Will you sign my yearbook?"
I'm pretty steriotypical but I've been in high school long enough to where this has happened. It was second semester but my first day so who knows what would happen? But maybe South Dakota is different?
I'm doubting myself so much right now.I enter the blue and white gates as I see people snickering at me, as if I was a lost puppy looking for a home. I hated this already.
I grabbed the school map from my bag just to notice more people chuckling over how lame it was to carry a school map. I needed my schedule from the main office anyways.
As I walk over to the office, using my school map, I also notice just a group of guys dead eye "checking me out". They looked like the jock type of guys to go around and break your heart.
I didn't know whether this was a good thing or not, since this has never happened to me before.
They just wouldn't stop! I look over my shoulder to look at one of them straight in the eye and man I wish I hadn't.
He was absolutely beautiful. Blonde, green eyes, seems footballish. He told me to go over there as if he had a question to ask. I wasn't going to let this chance go, maybe he was the hottest guy at the school.
He then asked,
"Hey beautiful, are ya lost?"
I began to stutter, over his British accent,
"U...uh.... just a bit? Do you mind taking me to the main office? This map is very inky and I cant read where the office is."
His eyes glistened in joy and said,
"Well, of course!"
He turned around to wink at his boys. I don't know if that was a sign or not but please God make it a good one.
He started talking to me while we were on our way there.
"So where'd you come from? You look pretty new."
"Florida, Miami to be exact. And yeah, I'm new.. Was it too obvious?"
"Just a tad with that paper filled with a shit ton of ink wasted to make a school map."
He giggles and I sort of put my head down as if I already made a bad impression.
I say,
"My bad, does no one use these anymore?"
"Well, no and yes. It was cute and I've never seen someone so anxious about it."
Yep, another yearbook guy. Just one to show me around the school and leave. Just peachy..
I stayed silent as we walked for about a quarter of a mile and I said,
"Me? Cute? No."
"You gotta be confident sometimes. Just like how you were to come up and ask me. Out of all my friends, you picked me..."
