'And that's how I know Tyler O'Neil, do you really think he killed Nina?' Asked Aria

'I mean, I don't know Aria, I don't really know what to say other then you've definitely changed, he's the typical bad boy' Brooke replied.

'He maybe but behind the act, he seemed really sweet'

Both Brooke and Aria were getting ready for the party, in which Aria wore her favourite outfit a red dress and her hair in loose curls.

An hour went by people were arriving, Ariana headed towards her new friends, and took a seat next to Jake.

'I'm just saying it's cray-cray that we were talking about slasher movies in Language Arts and then Nina got slashed' Riley said

'Well...Technically, she was already dead
when we started that conversation so there's no direct correlation' Noah replied to Riley.

Jake puts his arm around Riley, 'Dude, she's scared' which lead to Riley shrugging him off her.

Kieran adds 'Maybe we should be scared. Drunk , teenagers at a party by the lake ,where your homegrown killer died?, It's a natural slasher setting'

'Don't worry I'll protect' Jake whispers into Aria ear

'Just to let you know I can protect myself' Aria replies both walking off to get some more alcohol.

As Ariana new class mates dance the night away, She once again found herself drinking away her problems while eyeing up the next boy she could make out with.

Just as she goes to take another sip out of her plastic red cup, 'hmm, I think you've had a enough of that'

Aria vision was blurry, it took her a while to realise who it was 'Jake, give me that back'.

'I saw you kissing Elliot Woods, and you can do so much better then that'

'Like who? Someone like you?'

'I'm not saying me but I can assure you it's so not him Ariana'

At this point Aria attempts to take her plastic red cup back off Jake who took it off her and he holds his arm up, and is amaze how stubborn aria was to get her alcoholic drink back.

Then she finally gave up, 'fine, you win Jake' she said causing Jake to chuckle.

'So, how was your first day, at an American high school, it's not that high school musical image you had in your head is it?' He asked

'Defiantly not what I expected and I never thought that in the first place' she replied 'and where did you go earlier'

'Oh, that was just a prank me and the boys did, it's nothing to worry about' Jake reassured Aria.

At this point Aria and Jake were walking back to the couch, when the got there both sat down with Jake arm around Aria shoulder, they were sat talking about stories.

'I've heard your stories now, tell me something about you Ariana' Jake asked flashing his smile.

'I ask me questions then, I don't know what you want to know about me'

'Okay, what's your favourite flower?'

'Red Rose, why?' Ariana questioned

'Just random questions, just answer them. So what's your favourite food?'

'Anything Italian, seriously what are these questions, your a boy don't you usually ask me how many sexual relationships I've had or something else that's horny'

Jake laughed 'I thought I said to just answer them and the last question is what is your favourite film?'

'I don't usually agree with everyone but the Notebook for definite or any Harry Potter films'

Both Jake and Aria carried on getting to know each other until Aria fell asleep on Jakes chest.

For minutes Jake laid there looking at her sleeping, he thought to himself he only just met this girl there is something different about her, she's not like the rest. In some way she reminded him of himself, they both put up this act but underneath they are a totally different from that.

Jake carried Ariana to her room, Jake had been to the Maddox household many times either for one of Brooke's parties or with his Parents they were close to the mayor and his wife.

As he laid Aria down on her bed, 'bye beautiful, I'll see soon' Jake said his final words to Aria before leaving her room.

Sorry for the long wait, school will be finished next week, so my updates will become more frequent and I'm still yet to decide Jake fate in this story but this is the 3rd chapter hope you liked it :)
