After Kise had run back and taken a shower, it was time for school.
In school it didn't go that well. He didn't really pay attention to class, and got lectured for it. When it was finally time for club activities he spaced out for most of the training. At first Kasamatsu would kick or hit him, but after a couple of times, he thought it was very weird. The others who watched the whole thing thought it was weird too. What was wrong with their ace? Kise didn't wail or complain about him getting beat up today, he just said sorry. Nothing more nothing less. He also didn't wave at his fans.
Seriously it made the others wary. Even though it seemed as if he was totally lost in thought, it didn't stop him from scoring. He scored and did his job, but this time it looked as if he was doing it automatically.
Kasamatsu thought it was time to end his kouhai's "absence", so he yelled with annoyance laced in his voice, "Kise get over here."
Kise ran over to Kasamatsu.
"What is it Senpai?" Kise asked in a polite tone, making Kasamatsu more wary.
"Kise if there's anything wrong, not like I care, but I'm your captain! So you have to tell me! Besides we are all a team!" Kasamatsu barked.
Kise looks shocked and taken aback by Kasamatsu's words but smiled afterwards. Kise returned to his usual (annoying) self. Which made the others more relieved.

At some other place, Kimiko had decided to visit Too high school.
Kimiko walked to the rooftop where she knew the blue haired male would be. She wasn't entirely clueless about his feelings for basketball growing weaker everyday. She knew. As she opened the door to the rooftop, she saw... A sleeping Aomine. Well wasn't he a lazy one thought Kimiko.
"Daiki, wake up."
When he didn't wake up Kimiko walked towards him, and when she was just in front of him she didn't stop, she just stepped on him, which made him wake up from the shock.
"Good morning, Daiki"
Aomine knew that voice. He quickly opened his eyes with shock and saw a smiling Kimiko. Aomine couldn't agree with himself whether to be angry or happy. Why did she suddenly show up after disappearing without telling them anything in Teiko? Aomine really wanted to yell and rewind back to being a 5 year old child, but thought better of it. He knew it wouldn't make her spill the beans by pestering her. Or else Kise would have succeeded a long time ago.
Aomine was quite speechless and Kimiko was waiting for him to say something. The only thing which that came out of Aomine's mouth was, "yo." As a greeting.
Kimiko just blinked twice and began to laugh out a heartily laugh like a thousand bells chiming. Her voice and laugh instantly made Aomine relax.
When her laughter died down, she asked him a question, "don't you have basketball training right now?"
"I'm skipping." Aomine said with a isn't-it-obvious tone.
"Then it can't be helped."

While the others from Too basketball club was warming up, the door opened and in came a beautiful, breathtaking girl. But she was holding something in her left hand, no, rather she was holding someone in her left hand... And that someone just happened to be Aomine Daiki. When they saw her dragging a complaining Aomine, they actually thought their first impression might have been a tad wrong. At first the thought she was that really nice and cute girl but after seeing her dragging Aomine they didn't know what to think. It wasn't everybody who could just get away with dragging Aomine.
"Hello everyone. I am Kimiko and I went to Teiko Middle school along with Daiki. It's a pleasure." She said and did a graceful curtsey while tilting her head slightly as a form of respect.
If the others didn't get the ojou-sama feeling from her when she walked in then they definitely got it now.
"Daiki, shouldn't you warm up with your team?" Kimiko said while letting go of him and went to sit on the bench.
Daiki whom wasn't very fond of making her mad complied with her wishes and went to the locker room to change. After not too long he came out and began to warm up with the others. The others really thought it was an astonishing sight.
Suddenly a door to the gym opened with a loud bang and in came a panting Momoi.
"I'm so sorry everyone! I was on cleaning duty today and I couldn't find Aomine. He wasn't on the rooftop. Geez that Aomine always skipping practice!" Momoi said between pants.
After not receiving a reply of some sort Momoi looked up in curiosity and saw to her amazement Aomine warming up with the others.
"Aomine-kun?! What are you doing here?" Momoi voiced in astonishment.
"Satsuki! Don't be so shocked!" He said with irritation in his voice.
Aomine walked to the bench and sat besides Kimiko whom Momoi hadn't seen yet. It was first when Aomine had sat besides her, did Momoi see Kimiko. Kimiko gave Aomine a bottle of water. At the sight of Kimiko did Momoi understand why Aomine was present today at training.
"Kimi-chan!! What are you doing here? Why haven't you been calling? Everyone missed you so much!" Momoi Said while tackling the girl in a hug.
"Satsuki. It's nice to see you again. Can you let go now?" Kimiko asked but not in the rude way.
"have Daiki caused a lot of trouble? Since I'm sure his answer would be no and in favour for himself."
"Yes a lot of trouble! I just can't leave him alone!" Momoi nearly screamed out that sentence in sheer frustration.
"Why haven't you answered your phone?" Momoi interrogated.
"Oh I got a new number."
The two girls talked till training was finished. They waited till Aomine was done changing. When he came out Kimiko asked a question which she had asked all the others, "Daiki, do you want to play basketball again on the same team?"
The two of them stopped walking and stood frozen solid. Kimiko didn't mind much, she already knew what the answer would be. She wasn't stupid, but she still hoped.
When she still didn't get an answer verbally, Kimiko said, "you don't need to answer me. I already know what your answer will be."
The three of them walked to a nearby convenience store and went in to buy ice cream.
"Do you think Seirin will advance far enough to have a match with Too?" The question came rather abruptly. Momoi and Aomine had to think a little before answering.
"I don't know. I haven't really checked them out yet so I can't say for sure." Momoi replied faithfully even through her sweetheart was on the team.
"Eh I don't know. Anyway they'll never beat me. The only one who can beat me is me." Aomine said in a very arrogant voice, "they have to beat Senshinkan and Shutoku. Midorima attends Shutoko, right?"
"Yeah you're right. Don't tell the others that I'm here yet."
As the two of them agreed reluctantly Kimiko decided eat some of Aomine's ice cream since it looked good. She quickly took his ice cream and ran away leaving a shocked Aomine and a laughing Momoi.
"Oi Kimiko! That's my ice! get back here!" Was what Aomine was shouting while chasing Kimiko down the road.
Momoi felt relieved at the sight. It wasn't quite the same without Kimiko. The others weren't quite the same.
