In the darkness I collapsed
In the ashes I rose
When I see my own loving sum shine
We could make the rainiest of days
Go away
Turn sadness into joy
But now I realize what I was to you.
I was that experiment that failed
That girl you abandoned with empty feelings
But you asked for more
And in the end I have seen that's those happy times were just not for me
So my sunshine has gone away
And in the darkness my night light lights my new way.
