A Wish for the Future

The stars are shining brightly tonight.
The night is quiet and still.

I can't sleep.
My head is filled with thoughts and incoherent words.
I can't help but look up at the stars.

And, I beg.

I hope.

I wish.

I wish for money to help everybody, who are in desperate need.
I wish for sickness to run and hide, as far away as possible from the weak.
I wish for plentiful food for those who starve.

I wish happiness for those who weep continuously and those who are lost.
I wish pain to wash away as quickly as they appear.
I wish for people to remain strong and hold on.

I wish for a dream to everyone without one.
I wish everybody to stop causing harm to everyone and everything.
I wish mortality to remain absolute.

I wish death to always come when it's time.
I wish death will come to silence my wandering and painful mind.

————————————————

I shall end the night with a slumbering person never to be woken ever again.

Sleep will come and wash away your pain from the day.

So, welcome it.

Welcome sleep.

Soon, you shall also welcome death.

Death, the eternal slumber to your body and mind.
