I was born in Inverness on a stormy September night , my mother was only 24 and my father 26 when i was born , my short red hair and bright blue eyes , fair skin and happy spirit gave them many a nickname to choose after naming my amy but Thay came apron a strange nickname , poppy , longer than my real name yet seemed to fit me better than amy gravestone .
Lets skip a few useless years to my second to last year of school , this is the year i finally learnt the story of why i was nicknamed poppy , we had to write about a hero in our family of course some kids had really really cool heroes , my crush Joshua had an uncle who lived the sinking of the titanic , others life saving nurses , i asked my mother who was a hero in my family and she sat me down next to the fire and told me to imaging my father but with blue/green eyes and dark blond hair and said that was my great great great grandpa James West Gravestone , she said that he was born on a farm in the middle of Ireland and thats where is tale begins ........
