Sheeps prowled the snow covered ground, and the oak trees touched the blue sky with its green fingertips. I shivered, "By Notch, it's freezing cold!", I said l shivering. My white and black horse, Rasui, snorted, " But you know it's true, Rasui.", I said. Rasui shaked, and I patted his head. We continued on through the snow covered forest, hoping to enter a tundra. Abbott said that there was another warrior, named Hades I believe, in a desert town, called Lavi, that's very close to the king. He predicted that if I delivered news to him that the prince has been kidnapped, he might join my team. I just hope he's right, or I came out here for nothing. Luckily, Gaban used to go there for supplies, until the bandits raided the town. I looked around, Ok, go through the taiga, and travel across the tundra, I shivered once again, Man, I hope he's right.
The last bit of trees disappeared, and only a snowy plain remains. I pulled the reins, "Okay, I think it's time to gather wood before we travel through the tundra.", I said. Rasui stopped, and I patted his head, "Glad someone agrees.", I said bluntly. I hopped off, and grabbed my iron ax. I walked to the nearest oak tree, and started chopping. After two or four swings, the tree started to fall. "Timber!", I yelled.
Snap! Crash!
Sheep dashed away from the falling tree, and toward me. I smiled, "Looks like your carrots are saved Rasui, I'm having mutton!", I said pulling out my iron sword. After an hour of creating a sheep massacre, and chopping enough wood to carry on my journey, I'm back on the road. Sadly, it was getting dark, and I cursed under my breath, "I need to get as far in the tundra as possible.", I said making Rasui run. I probably got about two, three miles, before Rasui suddenly stop, so I was thrown off him. I was lucky I didn't strain my ankle. I stood up and glare at Rasui.
"What the heck, Rasui!", I yelled angrily. Rasui looked up, and I follow his gaze. The sky was a purple color with a few stars, and I sighed, "Why do you have to stop like that every single time?", I asked him. He snorted and dragged his hoof across the ground. I brush myself off, and grabbed my bag. Let's see, I need dry leaves, dry wood, a stone and an iron ingot, I thought, luckily, I brought some dry leaves, and I have a stone. Plus I can use my iron ax, and I wasn't stupid about the wood either.
After some minutes of getting the fire started, I sat down, and I put my hand close to the fire. "Finally, some warmth!", I said happily. Rasui lied down near the fire, and he bobbed his head. I smiled and patted his snout. I pulled out a bag of carrots, and the wrapped up mutton. I put the carrots in front of Rasui, while I tried to set up a little cooking station. I managed to get my mutton cooking, "I hope I get to Lavi in two days.", I said to myself, gripping my hands together.
Rasui nudged my head, probably trying to comfort me. I looked at him and rubbed his snout. Then, he bit my hair, getting me to stand up. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, what!", I shouted. He turned his head to a little group of tank spiders. I raised an eyebrow, tank spiders don't come into the tundra, nor does any Spider Queen. Then, I decided if they attacked me, which they most likely will, I'll kill every last one of them. They seem to notice me, but they're not attacking. I kept my guard up, now waiting for some Spider Queen to appear. Suddenly, webs strings appeared, but I dodged it due to my quick reflexes.
"Interesting, I never seen a human moving as quick as you.", a raspy, feminine voice called out. I squished my eyes through the blaze of the fire, and I saw the most ugliest queen you could imagine. Usually, most Spider Queens are gorgeous, despise having spider legs. This one had long, gray hair, and full white eyes. She's missing two legs, and she's so wrinkly! My face had to be filled of disgusted, "I can see you don't like my glorious looks, human.", the queen said. "Yea, you're more uglier than a witch.", I replied.
She didn't seem too happy when I called her ugly. "Just like the rest of them, thinking so highly of themselves.", she said. "Hey, I'm just telling the truth.", I said. She glare at me, "What's your name, human?", she asked. "Bluebell, What's your name, your highness of ugliness.", I replied. This time, she smiled. Her teeth were crooked, black, and yellow, which means she been eating humans, or she's just plain old. "My name is Merla, Bluebell, my weak and fragile Bluebell.", Merla said evilly. Oh, she's obviously not a bad guy, I thought sarcastically.
She started to chuckle creepily, "Hey Rasui, I think it's a good time for you to leave.", I said. Then, I heard him galloping away, "After that filthy creature, I'll have it as a snack for my beautiful spider eggs.", Marla ordered her tank spiders. They followed my horse, but Rasui is already way ahead of them. "Now, where was I?", Marla said. I grabbed hold of my iron sword, and quickly dodged the webs, again. Marla growled, and sent her spiders, the size of grapefruits, at me. I smirked, and charged. I whacked a flaming log at them, and the little spiders ran away cowardly.
I charged at the evil queen, and started to brandish my sword. She dodged every single one of my swings. Then, she shot webs in my eyes, making me blind, and I dropped to my knees. I tried to get the webs out of my eyes, but it was effortless. "Heh, Herobrine was right, you're just a weak child that should have stayed home.", Marla's voice ringed in the air. I couldn't pinpoint where she was, until Marla let out a horrible scream of pain. I heard a 'thud', and then total silence.
After a moment or two, a man's voice broke it, "You know, you're an idiot trying to take on Marla, especially when you're just a rookie.", his cold, smooth voice replied. I heard heavy footsteps coming toward me, and I flinched when I felt cold hands touching my face. Suddenly, I could see black, empty eyes staring back into mine. He looked kind of cute, he had curly, short, silver hair, fair skin, and black eyes. Plus, he seems to be around my age, which is eighteen. I can't see what the rest of his face looked like, because of his gray scarf, but he looks pretty decent. I smiled softly, "Thank you for saving me, sir.", I said.
He rolled his eyes, "Whatever, I just did what needed to be done, kid.", the man replied rudely. How rude, I thought. I heard a snort behind me. I turned around, and saw Rasui, "Rasui! Thank Notch you're OK!", I said happily. Rasui nudged his head on my face, and I smiled. Then, I remembered something, "Excuse me sir-" "My name is Crevan.", he interrupted me. "Okay Crevan, do you know which direction is Lavi?", I asked.
Crevan raised an eyebrow, "The town that's overcome with thieves and bandits? Yes, yes I do, but I'm not going to tell you where.", he said. "Why?", I asked. "Because you'll get robbed as soon as you set foot in there, rookie.", Crevan answered coldly. I was starting to get ticked off with his attitude, "For one, I'm not a rookie, and two, I have a name you know.", I said annoyed. "Then, what is it, kid?", he asked rudely. "Bluebell.", I answered. He looked at me, "Seriously? I heard more better names than that.", Crevan commented. What a jerk, I thought. I walked past him, and checked on my mutton, which I almost forgot about. Uh, I swore it was overcooked, I thought. I heard Crevan mumbled, "Did you said something?", I asked. "No!", Crevan shouted. He walked past me, and pulled his stone sword out of a bloody and bruised Merla. "You should come to my place, or else you'll get killed by wolves-", I rolled my eyes at that statement, and he seemed to take notice, "Or get killed by the monsters that had started to come into the tundra."
Crap, that means I'll have to stay up all night if I stay here, I thought. I looked back at him, and nodded. He's probably smirking, because his cheeks moved up slightly.. "You have chosen wisely, rookie.", He said while he was putting the sword on his back. My eye started to twitch, I'm going to have a terrible night. "Also, bring the cooked mutton with us too, I haven't got the chance to cook dinner yet when your horse was charging at me.", Crevan said looking at my horse. Rasui just snored, and dragged his hoof across the ground. I grabbed the cooked mutton, wrapped it back up, and I hopped up on Rasui. Crevan started to walk off, so I simply followed him.
After 30 minutes or so, we reached his home. I thought it would be an igloo, but instead, it's a wooden house. It was a medium-sized oak wood house with a few windows. I noticed something to my left, I turned my head in that direction, I saw three gravestones. I frowned grimly, No wonder he's so harsh, he lost people close to him, I thought sadly. I hopped off Rasui, went inside, and I was amazed to how the house looked inside. There was so many paintings that I lost count, the floor was covered with a scarlet carpet, and bookshelves covered the walls. Then, I noticed a wolf in the middle of the living room floor, and it took notice of me. It growled very angrily, so I stepped back. Crevan whistled, "It's okay Baldwin, she's staying here for a night.", Crevan said calmly. The dog, Baldwin, stopped growling and went back to sleep.
"Is he always this hostile?", I asked. Crevan smirked evilly, "Of course, so be quiet or he'll get you.", Crevan said playfully. I rolled my eyes, and looked around. Then, I searched through my bag, and grabbed the mutton. It was still warm, and I heard a stomach growled. I looked over to a red-face Crevan, and I chuckled. "Hungry?", I asked unwrapping the mutton. He glared at me, but I just simply asked, "Where's the plates?"
