{Two Days Before Graduation}

Karma's POV

It's was around the night and I gotten woken up by a similar cry. Turning my head aside, I saw (Y/n) gripping her pillow as she cried lowly. I fully turn my body around and held her close. In a matter of seconds, (Y/n) relaxed. Her (hair color) hair flowed down the bed as her breathe hit my chest slightly.

I sighed and planted a kiss onto her forehead, which was covered in sweat.

"I'm right now.. I told you I'm not going anywhere." I muttered to her, stroking her hair gently.

This had been happening for this whole month. Her nightmares are getting worse and worse. Korosensei will probably let her sleep in class since I explained to him the first two weeks.

Once (Y/n) was fully relaxed and asleep, I closed my eyes to rest.

[Morning]

"Karma, do you really think that they're not coming here? I mean, I'm not doubting you or anyone, but I don't want anyone to get hurt in my own fight." (Y/n) asked me, wanting me to reassure her.

"I'm sure of that, (Y/n). And thanks for giving me your cuts of the tentacles on Korosensei when we took the test. You didn't have to do that." I told her, my eye sight still forwards.

"I did.. After all, you were mad at me for passing all of the test in the first place. I had to do something to keep you happy. Even it meant to give up the things I earned.." (Y/n) stated, standing in front of me, her arms wrapped around my neck with her bag now behind me. Chuckling, I moved my hands onto her waist, smiling.

"You are such a cliché, my little assassin." I muttered to her, smirking as she blushed from my nickname.

Today was the day of her parents death. The school had allowed her to wear all black and let her skip her classes if needed. But, knowing her, she won't do it. So, I'm gonna be by her side just in case she needs something.

"Hey, (Y/n)! I know that today is that day, and I want you to know that I'm sorry about what happen. I hope that you won't be skipping any class. But, if you need to, it's okay. I'll se you both around. Later Karma. Bye (Y/n)." Nagisa said, hugging (Y/n) before leaving to class.

I looked at (Y/n) to see that she didn't like the pity he gave her. She sighed, walking away from the way to class. Following her, (Y/n) looked down.

"Hate the pity?" I asked, breaking the silence. I just heard (Y/n) grunt, meaning to back off. I sighed and stopped her from walking, immediately she broke crying onto my shoulder. Dropping everything, we landed onto our knees.

"I should've done something; I SHOULD'VE FOUGHT BACK! But I didn't.. I didn't. I'm such a fucking coward! Damn it!"

This when on and on for a while; she told herself that she was incapable of going to class, a coward in plain sight. I just let her be. Knowing her, there was no way that she'll listen to my words. It wouldn't made things worse.

After what seemed like hours, her cries softened along with her body shaking. Once she fully stopped, I pulled her away from my chest and looked down at her.

"You can go ahead and start saying the things you wanna say. I'm ready for them.." (Y/n) whispered out, not looking into my gaze.

"Not feeling today.." I sighed out, resting my head against her own. I felt her head moving upwards, meaning she was looking at me. "Your parents died on this day, right? So, I'll let you be for now. Tomorrow, I'll show you that you're different from what you think."
