Sorry for the mistakes 😁 but hope you like it so far!!!!:)

I guess I never really felt safe here. I always felt like I was being watched, like being observed before a huge experiment occurred. I know it sounds silly, but its true. Haven't you ever felt like YOU we're being watched?

CHAPTER 1

I took a deep breath. I looked up at Ryan's dark green eyes.
"Have I told you yet that you look beautiful?" Ryan put his warm hand cradling my face.
"About 9 times today, yes." I replied, watching his every movement.
He laughed, his real laugh, the one that I loved. "I thought so." He bent over slightly to kiss me. His lips were warm and soft on mine. "I love you." He whispered, after he removed his face from mine.
I took his hand. "I love you more."
He squeezed my left hand. "That's only possible when I die. Which won't be anytime soon." He kissed the top of my head. "I'll drop you off at home, Kay?"
I nodded. We walked towards his red cheve truck parked in the dirt road. Hand in hand, we swung our hands while we walked a faster pace. We almost skipped... Which isn't Ryan at all.
I laughed, hugging him, not letting go until he said, "Your dad is going to be worried."
"Let him worry." I whispered, closing my eyes. "I'd rather be here in your arms than be watching Charlie cheer on his football team."
He laughed. He rubbed my back and pulled me away from him, looking me in my eyes. "I love you. More than anything in this world, Alyssa. More than myself. I want the best for you. Trust me, I'd rather be here, hugging you and kissing you gently on the lips, teasing you, than having to let you go. But, I have control. You need to have it too. So please, let me drive you home."
I took in every word he said. I nodded slowly. "Fine."
I pouted on the way back to my house, not getting what I wanted like usual.
Ryan got out and opened my side car door. He helped me out and walked me to my front door.
"Wanna come in and hang for a little?" I asked, looking for a reaction on his pale face.
"No."
"Why not?"
He pecked my cheek and left.
What the hell was that?
Before I could go up to his window and reject, he turned around and sped down the road. Anger flushed my face, and I walked inside.
Of course, Charlie was watching the game. He was on the edge of his chair, ready to jump up and cheer.
Before he would notice me, I ran to the stairs and ran up. I dashed towards my room and made it safely inside. I had closed the door behind me.
I turned to see a messy room. The "teenager" sort of messy room. That wasn't me. I cleaned it up. I stopped in the process of picking up my red sweatshirt.
Wait, if it wasn't me, then who did this? Charlie?
No, he would never go in my room without asking me first. I know him.
I stood there in confusion wondering who would be in my room.
I looked around some more, making sure nobody stole anything. Nope, nothing stolen.
Wait a minute.
Maybe Ryan had something to do with this. I mean, he never rejects to coming inside, and plus he told me he wasn't doing anything tonight.
But why wouldn't he tell me?
What's going on here?
I heard a knock. "Hello?? Alyssa, you have a call. It's from Ryan."
Charlie's voice stammered at his name. He didn't really like Ryan so much, I had no idea why.
I opened my door, looking at Charlie's face. There were wrinkles by the edges of his eyes, and his brown eyes laid there, full of dullness. That was Charlie.
Before he gave me the house phone, he took a deep breath. "He seems...almost.. Worried. And mad."
"Thanks for the warning." I replied, taking the phone. Charlie went back down stairs, and I plumped on my bed. "Hello?"
"Alyssa! Are you okay?"
I was surprised. He was talking faster than ever. "Of course. Why wouldn't I be?"
There was hesitation. "I was just making sure. So your alone, at home, safe?"
"Yes... I want to know what's going on, Ryan. Why the hell did you bolt off like that? And what is going on? I need to know. My room is a mess, and I sure as hell didn't do it-"
He cut me off. "What? Who was in your room?"
I talked slowly. "So it wasn't you?"
"No. I'm on my way."
The line went dead.
What? The? Hell? He did it again!
I ran down stairs and out the phone back where it belongs. About 2 seconds later, it rang.
I answered, angerily. "What?!!"
A soft voice was on the other end. "Alyssa!! Oh thank god!! Is she there with you?!"
I knew that voice. It's my best friends mom. Was she...crying? "Who? Caitlyn? No. Haven't seen her in a few days. Why? What's wrong?"
There was a pause. "She's missing. I don't know where she is."
I froze. No. No no no!! "How long?" I managed to choke out.
"2 days. I thought she went over to your house, so I didn't worry. But then I started calling her, and she never answered. That's when I begun to worry."
Shit. "Hold on." I set the phone down and opened the fridge. I grabbed the milk carton.
"No!!" I screamed and dropped the milk, spilling everywhere. I didnt care. Because the face I saw on the carton, was Caitlyn's.
