Once a newbury, never stayed a newbury

I was in the car with her and she didn't seem so sure about what to say... she dodged all my questions or just one question, for example "hey cadence what does the N. stand for?", but every time I asked it there comes a word that I USED to love, and her reply will exactly be "sooo I heard you like DOGS,". It got weird in the car but my mom has a job, that has do with people doing crime, no she is not in police she is a lawyer!!
HOME- "hey Eli, how was your day with you know, unknown?", I told her back, " don't call her that mom, I believe for the first time that I know more than you about her!!" , but I quickly took it back because there is something she's not telling me, " mom is there a person in the world named cadence and can also be hiding things like a crime", she looked at me very weird and doubtlessly asked " did she say she did anything?", I didn't know what to say but I just told her to look in the files and then she was there for robbery and then her name posted through, cadence Newbury Richardson. Newbury it's not an ordinary last name, but if it's what I think it is, than cadence is my RELATIVE!!!  But how would I bring it up, maybe with a nice set of tea!!!
