(2 months later)

Standing in the dress shop with Emma I just browse through the wedding dresses with Emma. She's finally getting married and asked me to come along with her so she can find a dress.

Emma's family isn't here because they live far so they're just going to come to the wedding and Emma and her fiancé are just doing all the planning.

As for me, they managed to find some lead on the person who's following me. When he attacked me in the bathroom they found a footprint, a loose strand of hair which they think is his and he was caught on CCTV camera.

They've brought in some people but I've been told to stay away just at the moment till they find something legit to bring me in for.

Detective Harley and me have been doing all the work and I haven't seen Tom since he last walked out of my apartment.

Each time I'm in he avoids me by leaving the place because I know that he's just running away from how he really feels from me.

I decided to come out today with Emma because I felt like I was going into depression staying indoors all the time other than having to go to school for work.

"How about this one?" Emma asks holding the dress up.

It looks so beautiful against her.

"Go try it on" She runs to the changing room while I continue going through the dresses.

Going through the other rack I continue flicking through the dresses when I find one that really stands out.

Taking it off the rack I carefully examine it, this is probably one of the prettiest wedding dresses I have ever seen before.

Walking over to the mirror I put it against myself and smooth the dress down with my palm. I could have been wearing a wedding dress on as well.

It would have been me and Tom together, married and happy if it wasn't for his self conscious.

"So, how do I look?" Turning around I see Emma in the dress that she picked out and she looks even more beautiful.

Carefully putting the dress back in the rack I walk up to Emma and pull her in a hug.

"You look so beautiful" She pulls away and starts to wipe away a few fallen tears which were in her eyes.

"This is the one Bridge; I don't want to look at any others I want to buy this"

"Then quickly take it off" I say with a small laugh.

She goes back in the dressing room and I'm left alone once again, feeling my pocket vibrate I take my phone out to see that Tom is calling me.

I hear a ding noise and see somebody walk out of the shop, that's strange I never saw that person here before.

Speaking of Tom he finally remembers who I am after two months then? Picking the phone up I hear people yell in the back and the sound of Tom's heavy breathing- what's going on.

"Tom, are you ok?" I ask feeling worried.

"Are you home?" He asks.

"T-"

"I said are you home?!" He asks much louder.

"No I'm out doing some wedding shopping with Emma" I say quietly so she doesn't hear me.

"Get out of that shop and get to your apartment ASAP Bridget, we know who he is and he's around you" I feel my heart stop in my chest from what Tom is telling me.

"What about Emma?" I ask running to the shop window looking out to see if I can see anyone suspicious.

"Emma is in safe hands don't worry about her. I've already contacted the shop to tell her to stay in but Bridget you've got to go, run!"

"I'm going" Cutting the phone off I look back at the changing room where Emma is in before quickly running out of the shop.

Unlocking my car I quickly get in and drive out of the streets as soon as I can. My heartbeat won't stop in my chest and I'm scared.

What if he hurts Emma, I don't want him to hurt Emma at all. For God's sake why is this happening to me?

Picking my phone up I quickly dial Tom's number ignoring the fact that I'm breaking the law at the moment but it goes straight to voicemail.

Throwing my phone back to the seat I put my foot down on the gas pedal and quickly take the next corner of the road so I can get to my apartment.

Once I'm on the road I park my car on the double yellow lines again not bothering, grabbing my phone I quickly lock my car doors and run into the building.

Running past the elevators I run up the stairs to get to my floor, because I live on the first floor it was a short flight.

Taking the keys which were attached to my apartment keys I unlock the door and quickly get in shutting the door behind me making sure to put on the double lock.

I'm home and I'm safe. Letting out some deep breaths I lean my back against the wall and try to calm down my heartbeat.

"Welcome home sweetheart" And at that moment I knew that I wasn't safe at all.
