Description: DeepWings are red, black or grey. They have webs between their claws, and all of their scales glow in the dark. They have gills on their necks. Because there is not a lot of food where DeepWings live, they are much smaller than the other dragon tribes, only about twice as long as a large scavenger is tall (for the scavengers reading this, DeepWings are about 12 feet long, or about 3.7 meters long). They have tiny, vestigial wings.

Abilities: DeepWings can breathe underwater. Even though there is no sunlight where they live, DeepWings have huge eyes to see the light they make. Their scales can light up.

Queen: Queen Abyss

Other: All of a Deepwing's scales can light up, not just some. This means that their version of Aquatic is extremely complex.

Because they live at such great depth, if a DeepWing was brought to the surface, it would die because there would be so little pressure.

Also, they cannot swim as well as SeaWings, because the water where they live is fairly calm.

Because of their tiny size, they hunt in groups to be able to overpower larger prey such as giant squid, which live at these depths.

How They Interact With Other Tribes: They don't. DeepWings spend their entire lives underwater, far away from any other tribes.

Where They Live: DeepWings live a ways off of the Pyrrhian coast, most likely somewhere near the SkyWing Kingdom. The live in what is called the Bathypelagic Zone, or the Midnight Zone. No light reaches here, and incredibly cold temperatures and extreme pressure make it so that only a few species can survive here.
