Don't leave

(Your P.O.V.)

My night sucked.

I felt my phone going crazy in my pocket. I didn't look at it, though.

"What's going on?" I asked one of the police.

"Listen, kid," he said, "Your Aunt has had cancer for a couple mouths. She is nearing her time."

"No." I said.

My tears poured out harder. 

"I'm sorry, kid." he said

They all got into their vehicles and drove off to the hospital.

I dropped to the ground and cried hard. 

 "Please, Jojo, don't leave me alone. No one loves me like you do. You mean everything to me. I need you. You're the closest thing I have to a parent. Please. If you give up on me, I'll give up on me, too."

I heard someone running down the sidewalk, "(Y/N)!" he yelled

I looked over, my face wet with tears. It was Vanoss.

"Leave me alone!" I yelled and stood up

"(Y/N)! Please! I saw the ambulance!" he yelled back

I said nothing and ran inside. I slammed the door behind me.

He knocked on the door, "(Y/N)! Please! Let me talk to you!"

"No! Go away!" I said

I quickly changed into some pajamas and sat on the couch. My eyes were a mix of purple, blue, and pink.

My phone vibrated. I checked it.

You have; 7 new messages from Alex, Wildcat, Mac, Vanoss

Alex: Hey girly! What happened?

Alex: Text me please

Mac: Hey! Come over if you need someone to talk to

Wildcat: What happened?

Vanoss: Please! Let me in! I'm sorry

I texted Vanoss

Me: Why?

Vanoss: I'm sorry!

Me: Go away!

Vanoss: Please! 

Me: No!

Vanoss: Fine! I'll leave

"Don't go." I whispered to myself

I thought to myself, "Why didn't she tell me?"

There was a knock on my back door. I walked over. It was Wildcat. I opened it and hugged him. I cried hard on his shoulder.

"Whoa! What happened? I saw Vanoss pounding at the front door, so I came to the back." he closed the door.

I didn't care if he was soaking wet, I needed someone to talk to. To hug. 

"Jojo." I barely said

"Who's Jojo?" Wildcat asked

"The closest thing I have to a parent." I said

Wildcat hugged me tighter. It made me cry harder. I felt the warmth of Wildcat's body. It made me feel safe. 

"What happened to Jojo?" Wildcat gently said

"I don't know...they said she had cancer."

"Want to visit her tomorrow? I'll drive." he said

I nodded.

"Wildcat?" 

"Yeah?"

"Can you stay the night? I don't want to be alone." 

"Sure."

Wildcat stayed the night. We talked for a while Until he popped the same question everyone asked me.

"Can I see your eyes?  Please."

I sighed and took off my sunglasses.
