I yawned. I woke up to a small bird chirping. I smiled and got ready for the day. I wore a lilac tank top and light blue shorts. I pinned my hair back so it wouldn't fly in my face. Finally, I had a small necklace that had a black heart with white angel wings. It wasn't much but it was special somehow. I had found it around my neck one morning as I woke up and I knew it meant something.
After breakfast I gave Levin to Zoey.
I was walking through the village and thoughtabout the man in the forest. I couldn't get him out of my head for some reason. So I went to go see him.
I was pushed against a tree. I saw him and rolled my eyes.
"Relax, it's just me."
There was a rustling in the bushes.
The man was fast to pull him out and push him to the ground with a sword to his throat.
I saw Laurence. I frowned.
I was about to yell when the man yelled.
(M-man, a-aph, l-laurence)
M-what are you doing here
L-you held a sword to her throat
M-give me a reason not to kill you
A-because I say don't
L-aph run he is dangerous
A- you have no right to tell me what to do I can protect myself
M-why are you here
L-I followed her
I was furious
A-laurence my irene how could you? Im supposed to trust you
L-im supposedto protect you
M-you should leave....now
L-not without her
I grabbed the man's hand with the sword in it and lifted it up
A-let me talk to him.
He nodded. I grabbed laurence's shirt and pulled him away.
"Did he hurt you?"
"If he did why would I come back? But that doesn't matter you followed me and didn't trust me."
He looked down
"Don't say anything about this please. He obviously wants to stay in the shadows so please go back."
He left.
I walked back "sorry"
" it's fine"
I looked at him. He was such a mystery and there was something about him that was....different.
"What is your name?"
He hesitated and spoke so quietly I hardly heard him "Aaron"
'Aaron' I smiled"my name's Aphmau but everyone calls me aph."
He took me to his little cave and we sat next to each other.
I kind of liked him. I know he probably didn't like me but I liked him. I knew I couldn't get hurt again. The first time was torture, because I really loved him but he was more like my brother than a boyfriend. I sighed. I promisedmyself that would never happen again. There were only a few things that made me cry
1losing people I'm close to
2hurting people
And3 losing trust of a person I trusted.
I hardly ever cried in front of people.
I knew if I was positive people wouldn't be so sad.
Then there was another flash. I saw an army and a man with dark black hair and cold dead eyes with a mask. He spoke in a cold hard voice that made me wince "So darling, what will it be. The choice is yours" I didn't know what it was but I knew my answer "No" there was an explosion. The wall I was standing on was now falling apart not far from me. I ducked and jumped down fighting my way through the army.
There was a flash again. My head was resting on Aaron's lap with a cool rag on my head.
"What...happened?"
"You past out and hit your head. Are you okay?"
I quickly sat up which was a mistake. Pain shot through my head and spine.
"F-fine, how long was I out?"
"10minutes"
"I have to go"
He nodded and helped me up.
