Dropping all of my bags by the door, I collapsed on the couch after a long day of shopping. My eyes slowly began to shut as I was about to fall into a deep sleep but was soon awoken by the ear piercing ding that bounced off the walls of mine and Justin's vacant house. A groan escaped my lips as I straightened myself up and grabbed my phone from the coffee table beside me.
Text message:
Hope you had a great day shopping baby. Go into the bedroom x
From: JayCuriosity took over and my face scrunched up in confusion as I wondered why Justin wanted me to go into the bedroom. Damn that boy's full of surprises. I strolled over to the bedroom and creaked open the door expecting to see Justin inside but there was no one there. I went further into the room until I spotted a sheen purple box laid out on the bed with a white bow around it. My face lit up as the realisation that he'd bought me a present hit me. What could it be? I carefully untied the bow and removed the lid as I caught glimpse of a beautiful, long black dress. I delicately picked it up to take a better look when a note slipped out, falling to the ground. I picked it up and read the scruffy handwriting that I would be able to recognise anywhere.
It read:
Hey beautiful, it's me again. Put this on and go look behind the couch for another surprise. - Jay xI slipped the dress on and admired myself in the mirror. It was gorgeous and hugged my curves in all the right places. A huge grin was plastered across my face as I squealed in excitement. I raced over to the couch and searched for whatever Justin wanted me to find. I began to look behind the couch when a white box similar to the other one caught my eye. I ripped it open, revealing a pair of black gladiator heels that I'd been wanting for weeks. This smile hadn't left my face, I honestly couldn't appreciate Justin more. There was another note inside.
Hope you like your gifts so far y/n. My drivers coming to pick you up in 15. Be ready. I can't wait to see you. - Jay x
15 minutes? Oh crap. I rushed over to my dressing table and began to straighten my dark brown curls that cascade down my back and apply as little makeup as possible. I kept the makeup to a minimum as I don't like wearing a lot of makeup and Justin doesn't particularly like it when I wear makeup either, another reason why he's a keeper. A honk outside the house interrupted my thoughts indicating the driver was here. In a hurry, I grabbed my purse with all my necessities in and made my way to the black car parked out front.
"Hi, do you have any idea where we're going?" I asked the driver, hoping he'd tell me where Justin's taking me.
"Sorry madam, I've been given strict instructions by Mr. Bieber not to tell you where you're headed this evening" he said politely.
"I'm not surprised, it was worth a shot" I huffed. The driver chuckled. For the rest of the journey, I gazed out of the slightly tinted windows trying to figure out where the hell I was going but I had no idea. The car came to a halt and the door was opened for me. I exited the car and took in my surroundings. I was on a beach and although it was dark, I could still see that it was empty.
"Mr.Bieber told me to tell you to follow the rose petals"
"Thankyou" I replied. My heart was full of admiration and love for Justin. He did all of this for me and I couldn't be happier. I followed the satin pink rose petals along the sand until I saw fairy lights glinting in the distance. I walked faster despite struggling in these 5 inch heels. A small round table with 2 chairs sitting in the sand came into view and candles were lit everywhere. Fairy lights hung from the table and soft music played in the background. As I walked even closer, the love of my life came into view. Tears welled up in my eyes and my hand clamped over my mouth as I saw him on one knee, a ring box resting on his palm. My heartbeat increased rapidly as my love for this man flew through the roof.
"Y/n we've been together for 4 years now and those 4 years have been the best of my life. You continue to make me a better person day in and day out and I have no idea where I'd be without you. I've fallen deeper and deeper in love with you everyday and I will carry on to do so until the day I die. I want you to be my wife, I want you to be the mother of my children, I want to grow old with you. Will you marry me?" The tears were now streaming down my face as I nodded frantically.
"Yes, yes, a billion times yes" I choked out as I jumped into his arms and held him as tight as I could. He spun me around and everything felt surreal. I never want to let go. This was really happening. I'm marrying the love of my life.
