The Wait is Worth It

All the texts and all the late voice calls we had

Made me happy with pleasurable tingles

A joy I felt I never had

You called me beautiful and said my smile was great

I took in every bit of your word

Listening to your voice

They were such sweet talks

Such sweet conversations

Now that I am writing these words

I am sitting here smiling

We planned all our plans, surprises, and loves

Told it to one another, that was the beauty of it all

Now the wait has been worth it

This trip is a one way ticket fair

I hope to see your face and smile

I look forward to having you near

Long distance relationships can be a tough one. All the challenges, the accusations, and all the pressure. Though it's tough, it can be worked through. I am currently in a long distance with a guy from Canada and I love him dearly. Only him. Long distance love can work. If you place in all your effort.
