Christina's Pov.

"have fun! love you!" mom and dad waved to us as we borded the plane.  my 5 brothers and 5 sisters all stood in line behind me and mike.  because we are the oldest we are the ones dealing with the tickets and stuff.

there wasnt many people infront of us since it was a small plane, one just right for a three hour trip to the country part of california.  we could have drove, but mom and dad were going to the bahamas today too.  they are flying so we thought it would be easier to fly too.

once we got to the front, where you get to the brigde part that connects the plane to the airport building, i handed the women who was working there the passes.  she quickly examined them, a normal routine for her and gave them back.  i took that as a 'yes your good, go ahead' .

we had to wait in another line to get in the plane.  that line was slower because everyone had to put their carry ons in the storage capartments.  but soon enough we were all seated in the seats we got.  me, amy and christian sat in a row, mike, joey and katherine sat behind us.  our seats were in the front of the plane, the rest were in the middle.  lisa, lauren and nick sat in the row next to dani and alex's.  some stranger sat in the window seat, next to alex.

the take off wasnt that bad this time.  no one threw up or cried.  now that the younger ones are older than last time they went on a plane i expected no crying, but some people get very motion sick so it surprised me when no one threw up.

during the flight a flight atendent came around with a cart that just fit between the isle.  there was all kinds of drinks, but things other than soda cost extra.  i just got a sprite.  the snack lady came around shorty after, giving everyone a bag of pretzels because someone on the plane was allergic to peanuts.

before i knew it the seatbelt sign was lite up and the pilot made an announcement. "ladies and gentlemen we will be landing shortly so please buck up and put all bags under the seats infront of you"

the landing was rough, and this time we werent so lucky.  nick threw up all over the back of the chair making lauren and lisa scoot as far away from him and the chair as possible.  before they could get off everyone else was let off and the attendents had to clean it up.

then we had to go to the baggage claim and grab our luggage as it went by on the conveyer belt.  it was frustraiting to get all 11 bags with other people crowded around the area, waiting for their luggage to appear.

it took an hour to get everything and everyone situated.  finally we were ready to leave.

Katherine's Pov.

"where do we go now?" i asked the leader, AKA christina.

"i think we have to go outside a get a taxi"  she looked at the signs hanging from the ceiling.

"everyone here and ready?" mike did a head count.  "were all good"  he told christina.

she lead us out the sliding doors were a line of yellow taxi's were sitting, waiting for people like us to jump in one and then go.  we ended up taking a few.

the car ride was quiet, no one talked.  there was a stranger in the car, so it made it uncomfortable. atleast it didnt last that long.

the taxi's traveled down a dirt road, surrounded be fields of grass or crops.  then it turned into a dirt driveway and pulled up to a cute white farm house.  the house had two stories and a front porch, where my aunt and uncle were standing.  the other ran towards them and hunged our aunt joy and uncle henry.  christina, mike and i payed the taxi drivers.

"aunt joy! uncle henry!"  i hugged them.  they smelled like farm animals, it was unpleasant.

"hey there katherine"  aunt joy said while still hugging me.

"how was the trip?" uncle henry questioned.

"it was fine, only one accident"  mike looked at nick.

"come on in we made a nice lunch"  aunt joy brought us in their house.  when you first walk in theres a living room with a small tv and coach.  past that there is a kitchen with a round table that had 5 seats.  huge mounds of all sorts of foods spread out over the table.  there was ham, fruit salad, mashed potatoes, corn, and fresh rolls.

"this looks so good!" exclaimed alex as he dove right into the food, followed by the little boys and dani.  after some people got all the food they wanted i made myself a plate.

i had just sat down and taken my first bite when three boys walked in.  one looked like an older teenager, he wore a plaid button shirt, worn out jeans, muddy boots and a cowboy hat. another looked like a young teenager, he had on a grey t-shirt, jeans and muddy boots too. the last was a kid, he wore loose jeans that barely fit, a white stained t-shirt and again the muddy boots.  the two older ones stopped and stared at us but the younger boy kept walking.  he reached inbetween amy and i to grab a roll, still he didnt notice us.

as he took a bit of the roll he wondered over to the counter and poured some orange juice.  when he turned back around he saw us and was confused.  "when did they get here?"  he asked.

"just a minute ago" uncle henry told the boy.

"who are they?"  the young teen boy spoke

"they're our nefews and neices"  aunt joy explained.

the boys just looked at us, still trying to analyze this.  but then the oldest talked. "we finished with the animals, we're going to town"   he pulled the young ones along.

when they left amy asked, "who were they?"

"they are Luke, Corey and Reed Smith.  they are staying with us now because they have just lost their parents."  aunt joy told her.

"oh... i feel so bad for them"  christian said saddly, we nodded in agreement.

"hey, why dont you guys finish eating and go get settled in your rooms"  uncle henry offered.

"okay, come on"  christina and mike rounded up the others and we went upstairs.
