Paper planes

I don't know why this chapter is called paper planes . Don't ask I never seen the damn movie.

It's May and Malik and I have gotten closer. He said he's falling for me and I'm not sure how to feel . I feel a connection between us but some things holding me back . Was it my past with Justin? Was it my period? Or was it the fact that i have all these end of course test that I highly doubt I will pass.

"You are hilarious you know that ?" Malik tells me

"Thanks" I say giggling .

"I move around a lot so I don't have many stories to tell about friends. But your stories with kaylin seems pretty hilarious"  he says

"Us as a squad is silly all together " I say still laughing

"What happened after that? " he asks

"Well the pizza guy ask for the zip code and the twins said they didn't know it  so we just started whisper arguing and the pizza man was clearly getting frustrated ." I explain.

Malik bust into laughter . "How did they not know their own zip code?!"

"You tell me " I say with a straight face silly-like

Malik sighs . &You're smart, pretty, cool and collected . What's the catch here ?"

"Catch ?" I Ask .

"Anyone as perfect as you always has a catch to you." Malik says

"Maybe I'm just perfect " I say smiling

"Maybe you're  perfect for me " Malik says

"Maybe you're perfect for me "I say

As those words echo in my head now ...

"So when am I gonna be able to see you ?" Malik asks

"I live half way across town bro I go to seawood high ." I say

And I go to wellbeck high ... He says

"Well yeah but your about to graduate . Lucky " I say

"And I turn 18 in 7 days !" :) he yells

"I turn 15 I two days yippee 😒" I say sarcastically

"Your time will come. Don't rush it . But I really wanna see you " Malik says you think I could come to your place ?

"Uh, maybe . I have to ask my queen ."

"When are you trying to come over anyway ?" I ask

"How's Wednesday night sound ? " he ask .

A school night ? ....

"Uh sure. " I say

"Wait your mom is cool right ?" He ask

"Oh yes . She a bit protective , but what else can you expect out of a mom right ?"  I say

"Yeah.. Well I'll call you in a bit I got to take my dog to the shelter . " Malik says

"Ight. Byee"

"Bye"
