Brigitte's first day

 I wake up at the sound of my alarm. I yawn and streight. I look around my room and look for Tikki. I spot her, "there you are, we need to get ready for school." 

 She nods and flys over to my bag trying to help me pack. I giggle when I see her drop a book. "Don't worry Tikki I can pack my bag you just make sure I have everything." 

"Ok, oh and I heard your mom and dad talking this morning, they said theres a new family in town." She tells me as she sits down on my dresser. 

"As long as its not someone like Chloe I'll be fine." I open my dresser and walk over to the bathroom with my shorts, white collared shirt and small black jacket.

Tikki giggles at that while I shut the bathroom door to get dress and ready. "Whats so funny?"

"Well the family is the Argest family." She giggles.

I groan as I finish dressing and brush out my hair. "Tell me your kidding."

"Nope." I finish putting my hair in low pigtails.

"Well I can still hope I don't have the son in my class, I've heard he is very very" I think of the word while brushing my teeth.

"Cold, serious, rude, secretive, a snob, should I continue." I open the door as she list the things off.

"No and I think you just mean your typical spoil rich boy." I tell her while packing my bag.

"I agree with that but, don't make judgement on what you've heard. Oh don't forget to pack a lot of pencils." Tikki floats over to check my bag.

"I did and I guess your right." I grab my purse and open it for her.

"Oh and Brigitte." Tikki stops before she gets in my purse.

"Yeah?" I ask her.

"Try not to burn someone's paper like last year." Tikki gets in my purse at that.

"That was the first day of chemistry and it was not all my fault..."

"Keep telling yourself that."

I sigh and close my purse. I run downstairs to grab my breakfast and go before I'm late. 

"Bye mama, bye papa." I wave as I open the door.

I heard two "Bye Brigitte"s before I close the door.

I run out my apartment building and eat my croissant. I get to the four-way I need to cross to get to my school and wait for the sign to tell me to go. Just as I'm waiting a truck speeds by and splashes me so I'm soaked.

"Are you ok miss?" I get asked. 

I turn around and smile, "Its just a little water." I turn back around to see the sign telling me to cross.

I get to school and look around for my friend, Claude.  I frown and sigh. The first day and he isn't here. 

"Hey Sabrina look who got a bath this morning, not that it helps her." I see Chloe and Sabrina both laughing at me. 

I put my head down and grab my backpack straps.

Just as I'm walking up the stairs I hear, "You two shouldn't be talking because someone can insult you just as much." I freeze at the voice. Its so cold and mean but, I really can't complain because they stood up for me.

I turn around to thank them, "Thank you for," He puts his hand up for me to be quite.

"I didn't do it for you I did it for my sake." He stares at me with his icy cold ices and walks on.

"I think I just met the new kid." I mumble as I walk on. 

I think about him though on my way to class. He doesn't seem the type to have friends, I frown at that. Is that why he is so mean to people. And what did he mean "I did it for my sake."? 

I'm so deep in thought I don't notice I'm about to bump into to someone. I walk into the person and fall on the fall. 

I look up and see its the new kid, "Hehe sorry I wasn't watching where I was going."

He sighs and offers his hand, "Well if your just going to keep following me I might as well tell you my name." I grab his hand and he helps me up, "My name is Felix and just watch where your going next time." 

Once I let go of his hand I put out my other hand to shake, "Brigitte." I smile.

He raises an eye brow and slowly shakes my hand. I take back my hand and walk around him a few times to check him. "What are you doing?"

"Inspecting you." I stop when I have everything I need to know. I don't think is a bad person.

He looks at me and huffs off. I stand there and smile while blushing. "This year might not be so bad."

After a few seconds I hurry off to class before I'm late. I get there in time so I can still get a good set. I don't see Felix in here and I feel a bit sad. 

Oh well its not like I'm going to sit by him anyway. I need to find a desk with two seats that aren't taken. I pick on in the front by the door. 

I wait while the bell rings and there are three seats not taken, the one next to me for Claude, the one behind me next to Logan where Allegra usually sits, and one behind Logan. 

That still means we're missing someone in class. Just as the bell rings Felix rushes through the door.

"Mr. Argest, you were a few seconds from being tardy, next time get to class before the bell rings as you walk in or I will mark you tardy. Now pick a seat." The teacher points out the two to him.

He looks at Nino and me before he sighs and sits next to me. What no that was supposed to Claude's seat.

I frown  because this is where we have to sit for every class  expect; music, gym, and a few other extra class.

I sigh and remember I'll have to break the news to Claude about how this will be the first year we don't sit next to each other. Oh why did you have to miss the first day of school.

I turn my attention back to the teacher. "Ok well since its the first day we will not be doing what we did last year on the first day of school with chemicals and instead get to know your seat partner. Nino you can work on something else." Some people cheer that we don't work with chemicals today.

"Also class to let you know that tomorrow we will be doing a review on lab safety so we don't have another fire." The teacher looks right at me and I sink back into my chair as she passes out the paper.

"You caused a fire?" Felix looks at me. 

"Yeah I caused a gas leakage and there was a liquid on my paper and the liquid and gas together cause a fire." I nearvesly laugh at the end.

"Great I'm sitting next to a fire hazard." He sighs and buries his head in his hands.

"And a fire extinguisher." I point out.

"Just don't cause a fire." He lifts his head back up. "Anyway let's just get this done."

I smile and we get to work. I'll have to rethink about what I said about him with Tikki. Maybe Tikki was right.

A/N: Hi so I did some research and found a few things out, one there are three others characters important to this version so I did some editing not major. Two, those three other characters and Felix and Brigitte are apart of a super hero group which I forgot the name of. Also I'm expecting to be posting a new chapter in the next few weeks and I'll put a link in the A/N to go check out the three other characters. Also the three characters have no name as far as I'm aware so I named them something I saw on YouTube. They do have super hero names and you will find them out later. Thanks chow. :)
