A drip of sweat trickles down my cheek as the hot sun rays burn my skin slowly.

I fight through it with no food or water because I know that I need to reach my destination. I take the cloth out of my satchel and dab down my soaked face until it is dry like this desert I am standing in.

All I need is some water so that I can fill up my flask, and I'll be able to make it the rest of the way.
I NEED to make it the rest of the way. I am the saving grace for everyone, including my family.
Something inside me wants to stop, just give up and die here, but my heart tells me to keep going. I know I- I stop dead in my tracks, as I look into the eyes of a camel. A camel with a wet face. I scream in joy as I run towards the camels, looking around to see where they could have come from.
I turn to my right and see a bright blue pond, with a few varieties of animals swarming around it. I run over immediately, with all the energy I have left and I thank God for giving me this amazing gift. I put my satchel down, just outside the water, and jump into the shallow pond, as it only reaches the tops of my knee caps.
All the animals run in the other direction, and now I have this beautiful water all to myself. I cup my hands and slurp up some water as I swim, thinking of memories of swimming in my pool with friends and family when I was younger.
That was, of course, before Esmerelda ruined everything. And now, I am the only one that can save everyone, and our world.
I am the only one on this ruined planet that can defeat Esmerelda, and set everyone free. They are all counting on me to make it to Jewel City.
I can not waste any more time. I embrace the water for only a few minutes longer, and begin my depart. I shake myself off, even if I love the feeling of the cool water against my dry skin. I can not show up to defeat Esmerelda looking like this. I need to look strong, and courageous. I need to look like I conquered this desert, and that I am ready to conquer and take her down.
I quickly fill up my flask with the water from the pond and wet my cloth, as I say goodbye to this beautiful gift that I had received. A tear drips down my cheek because I know that I may not see water again for the next few days.
I wave just as something slips out of my mouth. "Goodbye." I whisper, weakly.
I turn around and start to finish my long journey, hoping I reach the destination soon. I close my eyes, and take a deep breath.

"You need to survive. You need to save them." I say as I hold my head high.
