Finally. That got her to shut up.
"I am not controlling!" Marvella cried.
"Sure." Tristian shook his head "Then I'm not childish." He smirked.
"Okay but you really are impulsive.You could clean up after yourself,you know! No one likes seeing your trash everywhere and I'm tired of hearing the masquerade freak complain." The dirty-blonde haired girl pressed on.
"MY NAME IS PAISLEY YOU PEASANT."
Tristian heard a familiar voice call from the hall. He shoved his hands in his pockets and sighed "Please don't bring her into this too..."
"Why? Because she scares you?"
"She's a part of you,so yes she scares me." Tristian replied,however he instantly regretted it.
"Is that supposed to be an insult?!"
"That's not what I-"
"What you meant? Then why did you say it?" Marvella questioned him,then she turned away "You never listen anyway. I don't know why I try."
The girl was new to all her powers,making her way more stressed than normal. Of course her attitude wasn't the greatest,but Tristian knew he shouldn't have insulted her in the first place.
"I guess telling a girl that she's a wimpy excuse for a hero isn't necessarily romantic." He thought to himself. Of course he understood it wasn't,he still didn't know why it came out of his mouth in the first place. "Way to go,Tristian. She's definitely gonna want to summon you now!" He groaned. As the girl walked away he could only think how he was gonna solve this,and how he had just caused yet another argument between himself and his master.
