Testing Solaris

Chapter 2

Ivy POV  (Year: 2066)

My eyes began to flutter open. I started to notice my surroundings. Metal surrounded me and pain took over my body.

I then sat up slowly but hissed after feeling a sharp pain in my right leg. I reached down to feel what was causing the pain but that just made it worst.

There was a heavy object crushing my leg and a piece of metal deeply penetrated into my thigh. I then notice I was in a seat with many gears and controls around me.

I was in so much excruciating pain. I don't remember anything that happened before I got here.

I started to scream in pain, crying out for help. It was no use there was no one listening. I didn't even know where I was.

I closed my eyes and quickly pulled the large sharp metal out of my thigh. After screaming from the pain, I retreated to getting the bone crushing object off my leg.

I tried pushing it off with all the strength I could. Nothing was working. I then heard the sound of something shifting. Then came the sudden movement of whatever I was in.

My stomach dropped when I felt like I was falling. I then felt better when my leg had some room to move.

I attempted to push the metal off my leg again. This time the sound of moving metal came with the feeling of relief.

I lifted my leg slowly until I was able to move it from under the metal. I slowly shifted my weight onto my right leg. I started to look around for a way out of wherever I was.

I saw a latch on the door that seemed to be broken. I tried to pull the lever to see if it would unlock but of course it didn't.

I then tried to push what seemed to be a door. With enough force, I finally got it to open. I could hear the rusted sounds of the door swinging open.

There was a bright light shining through to little parts of the door that was open. I slowly picked up my injured leg and moved it towards the opening.

I did the same with my other leg and tried to step out. When I was completely out, I was almost blinded by the amount of sunshine beaming down on me.

I shielded my eyes with my hands and took a step on the ground.

Around me was pure green trees, plants, and dirt, unlike anything I have ever seen before.

I had no clue where I was. I then turned around to noticed the large contraption I was in.

It was almost like a spaceship, but I didn't understand why I was here and how I got here.

That's when I started to hear the crunching of leaves and crackling of branches behind me.

I quickly turned around but saw nothing there. Looking around, the noise became present again.

I then saw a figure creeping behind the trees. It was human-like, which made me feel relived.

I took a step closer. "Hello, do you know where I am?" I asked the figure behind the trees. There was no response.

I continued to step forward, dragging my left leg along. It was all of a sudden when my body just collapsed.

Another cliffhanger!? Yep and there's gonna be a lot more of those, get used to it. And What's up with her body collapsing all the time. I think she should get that checked out. Comment and vote.
