We were all pumped with excitement as we got into our SUV. We were all wearing our jerseys and I even had little hearts the colors of Mexico's flag painted on my cheeks.

Me and Alicia rambled on about the game as the car pulled into the street.

"Javier will be there!" I said as my mind traveled to images of him. I was such a fan girl.

"Diego Reyes will be there!" Alicia squealed as her eyes flashed with awe and excitement.

I laughed at her with amusement.

1 hour later

We had just gotten here and me and Alicia were practically skipping to the entrance like little kids. I didn't care that I was 24 and that she was 19, I just cared about seeing my boys play.

Venezuelans and Mexicans were all around the stadium. Both sides were yelling their hearts out as they waved their flags. Some people stood selling Mexico merchandise and Venezuela merchandise.

I laughed as two men, one wearing the Mexican jersey, and one wearing the Venezuelan jersey were yelling at each other. Both were dissing each other's team.

"Yup, us Latinos are very passionate about soccer." I thought to my self.

After witnessing a fight we then got to the entrance and gave the lady our tickets. We went to buy snacks before going to our seats which were in the first row. I was excited as I was going to have a clear view of my babies.

" What?! Seven dollars for a bottle of beer?! No manches! I should've snuck my own beer in," My dad yelled complaining about the prices, while Alicia, my mom, and I laughed.

I bought candy, a slice of pizza, nachos, a soda, and of course takis. I was addicted to junk food even though it was ironic because of my job.

" I never thought the day would come where I had to spend $150 on concession stand food," My dad exclaimed.

"Well you thought wrong dad. I mean just look at Jacqueline," Alicia rudely pointed out. Our dad obviously didn't hear her as he had already started walking towards the seats.

I glared at her as I struggled to hold my food without dropping it.

" Alicia you can't be talking because it's not me that's like 2 pounds over weight," I stated rolling my eyes.

" Its just baby fat!," Alicia exclaimed.

"Baby fat my a-," I stopped as I realized my parents were in front us and they would obviously hear me.

Alicia rolled her eyes as I turned away from her annoying self.

It took some skill, but I finally got to my seat with dropping my food. The stadium was already packed by the time we had gotten back. And the players were emerging from the tunnel. I stared in awe as they all came out, they were all so handsome.

Mexico's anthem came first and I placed my food on my seat as I proudly sang the anthem. I clapped after the anthem finished and sat back down as it was now Venezuela's anthem playing.

After that everyone all sat down while me and my family enjoyed our food occasionally yelling at the opposing team or cheering on Mexico.

Venezuela scored as I was drinking my soda and I kid you not I was about to choke to death.

I stood up(after almost dying)and placed my food on my seat. I was in shock as Mexico fans yelled at the Venezuelan team that was celebrating in the corner.

By the 79th minute, Mexico fans were mad by this point and were about to lose their patience. Half time had already passed and me and my family went to throw our trash away. I laughed as I remembered minutes earlier Javier had gotten into a mini altercation with one of the Venezuelan players.

"Oh he's such a bad boy ," I thought to myself with a smile on face.
I turned my attention back to the game as Venezuelan players passed the ball to each other.

"Vamos Mexico!," I said desperately. They had to win, my heart would literally break if they didn't.

Just then a girl loudly scoffed. I turned around and saw her roll her eyes at me.

" Don't be dumb nina, you know Venezuela is gonna win. Mexico doesn't stand a chance." She rudely said turning her eyes towards the game.

"Um well, was I taking to you? No I wasn't so please just mind your business and stay in your lane," I said to her annoyed. Who the hell was she to say Mexico isn't superior enough to beat Venezuela?

Annoyed I turned around to see the game again. I hadn't realized that Mexico gained control of the ball and was nearing Venezuela's net.

Someone passed the ball and El Tecatito caught the ball and then dribble it past 3 Venezuelan defenders. He kicked the ball and it went into the net.

I jumped up with joy as I hugged Alicia and we both started jumping. Mexican fans were ecstatic and cheering could be heard all around the stadium.

It was a wonderful feeling. The best feeling in the world.
