I had a really weird dream yesterday-
You were coming back for a month.
I was really happy for a moment,
I cried the next.
Why? Why are you coming back? If you left without a reason, don't come back with an excuse.
For the first time, I saw your face...
The wide smile that was spread across,
dimples that always showed up when you smile,
eyes that show a ocean after a storm, if only you looked close enough.
Those that I fell in love with.
You were in your white school shirt, maybe it was the one that you always wore,
or the one that I saw you laugh in the most,
or the one that you made me laugh in the most,
or the one that I loved the most.

You had your bag on one shoulder, as usual.
The last time I saw you,
we just brushed past each other.
You were with your friend, laughing as you would.
I noticed something different.. it was fake.
Like the ones you give when you saw someone you hate,
the ones you make when you hear a lame joke,
the ones I made ever since you left me.
Unlike the ones you gave me when we were together,
the innocent laugh, without holding back,
the familiar laugh that I'd always recognized,
the laugh that I fell in love with.

At that moment, our eyes met.

Sadness,
hatred,
hurt,
fear,
it was drowning you my dear,
no one bothered to tell you..
I wanted to say something, anything.
Maybe just a simple " Hi. "
or a greeting,
or a guesture,
something that would end this akwardness between us..

but i couldn't.
It was all because of the " filters " in my mind that made me cross out my thoughts and words that I wanted you to hear, to know how I actually feel. I wantwd to share my feelings and honest thoughts with you at that moment but.. i didn't.

Funny thing was that you didnt too.

I guess we just don't talk anymore.
