Meeting them in school

I was the new kid in Greenfields Middle School. As I walked to class,the teacher spotted me and we had a short conversation. She was Miss Garcia.
Miss Garcia-Are you Channelle?
Me-Opo Miss.
Miss Garcia- OK then Channelle,I want you to meet my daughter later in class she will be your buddy and take you around the school. I'm Miss Garcia and I will be your teacher.
Me-Yes po Miss

We walked to room 3-04. I curiously asked her if that was the classroom but she responded with a no.
'I wonder which class I'm in' I thought to myself.
There were some students in the classroom looking at me as if I was an alien or something.

Miss Garcia -Ylona darling please come up here.
Ylona- *walks to the front of the class*
Yes mom.
Miss Garcia -I want you to meet Channelle.You will have to take care of her and bring her around.
Ylona-But I'm busy today mom.Bailey and I have a project to do.
Me -Who's Bailey?
Miss Garcia-I'll leave you two here to talk but you must be in class by 7:30
Ylona-Hi Channelle ,I'm Ylona. Nice to meet you.*shakes my hand*Bailey is my close friend, we sing and act together on stage.
Me-Oh I see. Oh,do you have a watch?Because I need to check the time,I don't want to be late for class.
Ylona-It's 6:50 Channelle
Me-Thanks Ylona

She soon brought me to room 3-01.Everyone crowded around a table.
Ylona-Hi Bailey!*waves*
Bailey-Who's that with you?
Ylona-This is Channelle she is new.Mom told me she moved from Singapore to Philippines.
