It was a cold morning and i didn't wanna get out of bed but because i had to,i did. I woke up earlier than usual so i decided to take a bath and not a shower. After a few minutes i was done and i went back to my room to find clothes to wear coz i went straight to bed last night...i picked out a pair of jeans and a nice top and hoodie that match the color of the stitches on my jeans. I got dressed and went out to the kitchen

"Morning" i said to my mom who was sitting on a chair next to the kitchen counter. "Morning dear" she said with a smile but the smile quickly disappeared and a look of worry took over. "Are you okay mom??" I asked biting my bottom lip trying to think of what could be troubling my dear mother.." I am okay love" she replied but the look of worry never leaving her face, "Are you sure mom??"..."Yes" she replied quickly. "Okay if you say so". I said...

I went back to my room,grabbed my phone and made my way out to the kitchen. I said 'goodbye' to my mom and went to wait for the bus,it arrived and i sat next to Cathy like always..We greeted each other and spoke about normal topics like 'how was your night','are you looking forward to the day' yeah stuff like that.

We arrived at school and i gave Cathy a goodbye hug as i made my way to my class. "Melissa!!..Melissa!!"... i heard someone shouting out my name. I looked back and it was JAKE!... i stood on the spot as he ran up to me,pushing everyone out of his way. "Melissa" he called as if he were to tell me something,"Hi Jake" i greeted with a look of confusion covering my face. "Jeanette I've been looking for you" he said huffing loudly like he's been running for days."Oh yeah?? What's up??" I asked curiously ... "Yeah,I wanna talk to you during lunch break...please." He asked,"yeah sure I'll meet you??"..."In the lunch hall" he answered.

The first class on my schedule was science and my teacher is Mr Schiller. He's an old man with a baby face well that's something else! "Good morning students" he greeted, "Morning" we greeted back. "You guys are going to do a science project,now i need you to pair yourselves into groups of two..i give you five minutes" he commanded. Oh no! I don't know anyone here and everyone seems to be excited about this. This is bad! I looked around and saw a boy who was sitting alone so i walked up to him.."Hii I'm Melissa" i spoke,introducing myself, "Hey I'm Joshua" he replied,i think he was not keen on knowing me or my name, "Uhm can i be your science partner?? I'm new here and i don't know anyone" i explained "Yes of course" he accepted,i smiled at him and he smiled back,he was kind of a nerd and he wore glasses,he spoke fluent English,had blonde hair and orange eyes..he was skinny and he wore nerd clothes of course e.g sweater vests,Formal pants etc. Before we could speak further the bell rang and it was.... Lunch Break.

I found my way to the lunch hall,i stood by the door but not standing in anybody's way. I stood there and looked around to see if i could see Jake,i was chilled until a Blondie came up to me she was BEAUTIFUL but i had a sense she didn't have beautiful news. "Hi Fat Face,care to tell me why you standing in 'my' way" she insulted putting emphasis on the word my. I didn't wanna cause any unnecessary drama so i acted like an idiot,well i was about to when Jake came up.."what is going on here??" He asked with concern, "Hii Jake" said the blonde girl.."Yeah hi Shelly" Jake greeted without showing any interest. So her name is Shelly wow now i know,i quickly snapped out of my thoughts,"Nothing,Nothing is going on,Shelly was just welcoming me here" i explained,Jake nodded his head so i guess he believed me. "Mel i want to talk to you,can i??" He asked politely "Huh?? Who?? Me??" I have never been so confused and Omg he called me Mel, "Uh yes you,i believe you the one with the name" he said,looking straight into my eyes..i didn't know what to do or say so i gave out my hand for him to hold.

"So Mel i wanted to ask you something..." he said as he took me hand in his and walked way with me,i wonder what's that he wants to ask me,oh no I'm so scared.."Oh okay go on" i said and curiosity took over i wanted to know..i wanted to be asked. "So like there's this school dance coming up and i was wondering if you..." and before he could finish he was rudely interrupted by a boy with orange hair "Dude!! You missed out on a catfight between Maggie and Rose!! Dude you should've.." Jake interrupted before he could finish "Taze can't you see I'm busy??" He asked,you could see he was irritated..i put my hand on my mouth to prevent myself from laughing. "Dude! Who she??" He asked with a smirk filling up his face,pointing at me with his head, "SHE is my friend,her name is Melissa." He spoke irritation filling his voice.
