Attack on Ereri

Chapter 3

I was still awake, for the 5'th night this week! It was 10 minutes to four and I was writhing in my sketchbook. I drew or well wrote "Eren <3 Levi" in a big heart in the middle of the page and around it things that I liked about our captain, Levi. I had done this for the past 2 hours and was getting more and more tired but couldn't sleep so I figured a cup of tea would help. I got up from my bed ad headed to the dining room. I thought no one would be awake by now since it's now 4 o'clock at night. I came into the room sooo sleepy and sat down and rested my head in my arms on the table, but then when I looked up I saw... Levi?! I immediately stood up, well not I'm not tired anymore at least...

"Sorry Sir" I said and bowed. Oh god... I just sat down in front of the captain and my crush and didn't even notice?! I'm such an idiot!

"It's alright, now sit down" he said and I sat back down. "So, what brings you here?"

"Well... I couldn't sleep... In fact I haven't slept in 5 days now... And I thought some tea might help but I guess I was to late" Whatever I do I can't tell him...

"No you're not. Here" Levi said and took a new cup and poured some tea into it.

"Oh... Thank you, sir"

"No problem, now. What keeps a little brat like you up so late all night?" he said as I took my first sip of tea. Don't tell him Eren!

"Well... I have dreamt things if I say so..." I said and looked down at the tea, I like the color... it reminds me of how my mom would drink tea and then show us a since experiment with it. You know lemon in tea. And she would explain how it all reacts and I found it... At least a little interesting.

"And what may those things be?" he asked and looked at me. I felt how my cheeks blushed but it didn't seem like he noticed.

"I... I can't tell you sir... It's a secret" I said but then struggled for words to say... I can't tell him!

"So you are keeping secrets from me Yeager, I see" he said and moved closer to me leaning over the table. Now my cheeks burnt so bad but he didn't seem to mid or even notice.

"I... I'm sorry captain-" I started before he cut me off. Thank god!

"NO! You listen to me right now Yeager! You tell me what your little secret is!"

"O-oh... Ok captain" I said and swallowed hard "Well, I've ben dreaming about a person I like... B-but I happen to know that they don't like me back... They don't even care if I so happen to DIE!" I screamed that last part and started to cry. Levi walked over to the other side of the table and and sat down beside me and put arm arm around me making a shiver go down my spine. It looked like he thought about something so I just kept quiet. He then took a deep breath and said:

"Hey, Eren. I promise I won't tell anyone who this person may be if you tell me"

"C-captain I can't..." I said and felt my heart getting crushed. I knew that we will never ever be together... It's illegal, we can't!

"Well, can you give me a clue?" he said. I swallowed hard and said:

"Y-yah ok... Ehm... He told me that..." I thought for a bit but then memories came back into my head and I cried out: "That he would kill me if he so needed to!"

"Ok, so it's a he... Interesting, I must say. Well can I guess?"

"Ok... If you want to go ahead" I said. I saw him think but then a small hit of panic hit his face. Oh fuck no! No, no, no, NO! He knows now...

"Me" he said looking dead serious and looking at me with his perfect eyes.

"C-captain..." I said but then I struggled for words, I seemed that Levi did to so we sat there, quiet, for a long time...

"So... It's me?" he said out of nothing. I just looked down and kept quiet not knowing what to say. "Yeager! Answer me" he said and I lifted my head up in fear and looked at him, avoiding eye contact.

"I- I'm s-sorry captain... I know you don't like me... I'm just annoying and I am a TITAN! Fuck!" I said and cried yet again. Everyone hates me! Fuck! I am a monster!

"Hey now, Eren. You are not a titan. You hear me?! You are a human with the strong power to transform into a titan at will. And as the matter of fact I do like you!" Levi said and stood up. I was in shock... What? Did he just say...? No, no, no... Don't be silly now...

"W-what? Do... Do you like me?" I said after a minute or two of complete shock.

"Yah... I think I do... I haven't really felt love before, the feeling that has hit me is completely new to me" he said and sat back down, crossing his legs like usual.

"S-so you do like me?!" I said and a smile started to grow on my face. I just felt so happy, my crush likes me?! This is a dream!

"Yah... I guess so, my heart beats fast when I'm around you... A-and I feel... Warm inside"

"Captain, thats... Love" I said and looked at him with a smile, but that smile faded away when I realized that it's illegal and said: "illegal love" and looked down again.  "I-I'm sorry captain... I will go now...."

"No! Eren Yeager!" he said and grabbed my sleeve, looking into my eyes and suddenly... kissed me! I broke the kiss from shock... What is this?! I don't get it, but I liked every second of that kiss...

"C-captain..." was all I could say.

"Oh, god. Eren I'm so so sooo sorry. Lets just not tell anyone, ok?"

"O-ok"I said, still in shock.  "I'm gonna go back to my room now captain..." I said and walked away. I closed the door behind me, silently not to wake everyone up. Then I went back to the room still shocked. I sat down in my bed and wrote "First kiss 7/5" on the heart page and laid in bed thinking... We could keep it a secret I guess...
