We made it to the police station and we were sent in a room with a big mirror. They tried to seperate me and my sister, but I explain to them that my sister is still in shock.

"So girls, do you know what has happened?" George asked. "Well I believe our parents were murdered and our house was robbed." I answered. "Our officers haven't found anything stolen yet."George responded. My sister was sitting there in silence. "Can you guys tell me who you are?" George asks. "Well my name is Destiny and this is my little sister Isabella. She's 7 and I'm 14." I responded. "What about you last name?" "Lest." "So Destiny Lest and Isabella Lest?" "That's correct" I responded. "Do you guys have any family?" "Well my grandparents died and my mom is an only child." "What about your dad?" "He has a sister, but she's in a mental hospital." I responded quietly. "Oh, does your parents have any friends willing to adopt you two?" "Our parents have friends but I overheard them say they will never have kids." "Well did they mean baby wise?" " I'm not sure but their names are Rebecca Hault and Damian Hault." I responded. "Is there any place you can stay overnight, any friends?" "Nope we are homeschooled so we don't have much friends." "Well we are going to contact Rebecca and Damian , you can stay at the station if you like , I can get you some blankets." " Okay that wil be fine." He exited the room and we sat there in total silence. I wanted to reassure Bella but there is no use. George came back and leaded us to a room with a couple of cots, he gave us the blankets and pillows and sleep where ever we want in here. I pushed two cots together so I can sleep close to my sister. My sister understand what I did and went to lay down in one of the cots and lay down in the other. I put my arm around her and we went to sleep peacefully.
