A few days later.... Wednesday 4 days before wedding.
Lorraine’s POV
“So what does your wedding dress look like?” Zayn asks as Louis, Liam, Niall, Harry, Spencer and I sit around the table outside of a local cafe.
“Well it is strapless with a sweetheart neckline and it is very flowy” I say with a smile. I love my wedding dress so much. It fits me perfectly.
“I can’t wait to see it” Niall says.
“Same here” Liam adds to Niall’s comment.
“You will see it at the wedding in four days” Spencer adds in.
“I still can’t believe I will be Mrs. Baker in four days! That is unreal to me” I say as I look down at my feet.
“Your father would be proud Lo, I know that you don’t know who he is, and he does not know who is is for sure” Spencer says as she looks at each of the guys.
“Lo, we all want to know who it is? Can we at least get a test done?” Louis asks as I look at the ground once more. I know he is right about it. They deserve to know.
“Ok we can get one done” I say finally giving in.
“So when do we go?” Niall asks. Well someone is eager.
“Well how about Friday, the day before the wedding” Spencer says. Nice going Spencer, I don’t want them to leave because they are not my father. I have grown so attached to them over the last few days.
“That sounds good to me” Harry says. I don’t even know which one could possibly be my dad at this point.
“So what should we do today?” Liam asks.
“Well we have already been to the beach, how about we just have a movie day” Spencer says.
“That sounds good to me” Zayn says.
“That sounds good to me, Spence you take Zayn, and Louis in your car. I will take Harry, Liam and Niall” I say as I pay for our breakfast and we walk out. I step into the drivers side of my car. Niall sits in the passenger seat, Harry and Liam sit in the back.
“So what movie should we watch?” Harry asks.
“Well I have an idea that I think you guys would like” I say. I knew exactly what I am going to put on... home movies from my mom and then eighteen years ago. I hope they will like that or that will be awkward.
“Come on Lo, I want to know” Niall says as he grabs my hand. “This could be my first holding hands with my father” I thought to myself which made me smile.
“Why are you smiling?” Liam asks and that snaps me out of my day dream.
“Nothing” I reply as I look back at the road.
After three more minutes in the car I pull into my driveway. The guys get out before me and I lock my car.
I walk into my house, the guys and Spencer are already sitting on the couch. I go into the kitchen where I find a note from my mom.
Lo,
I have gone out to visit an old friend. I will be back tonight.
Love, Mum
“Spence, my mom is out for the whole day, so we have the house” I say as I go upstairs to my room. I pull up a loose board from my floor where I hid the box of old movies from my mom that I found along with the diary.
I grab the box and walk back down the stairs.
“What do you have in the box?” Liam asks and I smile.
