Ages ago
A couple of years..
I didn't know there was such thing
As queer
But I kinda noticed
The rainbow in my eyes
The colours weren't straight
And they didn't tell lies.
I drank my soda
Along with some tea
And I realised..
For I am queer
I don't want to hit on a queen
But a king,
Brought from a prince.
Well who, if I told..
Would let their anger reach?
A point of breaking
Could be dead in the ground
When we were in the snow,
If it was treated like sludge..
I would trowel deep under
To not abandon
My love.
