I was running back home to y/n after a long workout when I came across this dog running in the middle of the street towards me.
He looked really sweet and my first thought was 'I had to keep him', but I didn't think of how y/n was going to react.
Y/N POV
I was suddenly woken up by a loud crash and Liam screaming.
I jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs as fast as I could. When I reached the living room there was broken glass and dirt everywhere, but no Liam.
I tried the kitchen next and found a dog sitting by the sink with Liam. You screamed as if you were about to die.
"Y/n it's ok I found him while I was running isn't he cute?" He stated with a huge smile on his face.

"LIAM JAMES PAYNE ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" You yelled angrily scaring the dog.
"What y/n?" He asked as if he was clueless. "You know what happened to me when I was younger and how I feel about them." You stated.
"Aw babe I know but I promise he wouldn't hurt you he's a sweet heart see look." Liam said.
He bent down and the dog licked his face and jumped into Liams arms happily." Come here y/n he won't bite." He said jokingly.
You bent down to touch the dog and he slowly walked up to you and sniffed your hand. After a moment he licked your hand and started wagging his tail.
"I wanted you to name him." Liam said." I don't know, how about we come up with it together?" You asked.
Liam's POV
After y/n said we could name the dog together I was surprised. I thought she would say 'we're not keeping him so why should I name it' but she didn't.
"That's even better." I told y/n and kissed her. After brain storming for a few minutes y/n came up with a name.
"How about we name him Dudley?" ( a/n if you don't like that name you can chose something different ) y/n asked.
"That's perfect babe and I'm so glad you decided to keep him." I said kissing her.
