Naruto POV

"Naruto....", a smooth voice tried to coax me out of my slumber.

"Nooo...", I protested against waking up, and let my mind wander else where.

"Naruto.", a new much harsher voice demanded.

"What do you want, I'm sleeping.", I questioned lazily.

"I guess I'll just take back all of your presents then.", the voice said sarcastically.

After remembering that today was October 10th, my birthday, I immediately shot up from the couch and looked my father dead in the eye and sarcastically joked, "You wouldn't dare!".

We chuckled for a moment, and after seeing that I was in the living room instead of my bed I questioned my father, "Why am I on the couch?".

My mother made herself known after protruding from the kitchen with a cup in one hand and a dishrag in the other, "Silly, you fell asleep there after watching that movie last night.". I responded with a silent 'Oh', and stood up.

"W-where are you going?", my father stuttered.

"To take a shower?"

"Oh, alright. I set your clothes in the bathroom already and a towel."

"Thanks!", I rushed off to the bathroom. I got into the bathroom and stripped my body of my clothes and placed them in the hamper. I grabbed the shower handle and gave it a tug before stepping in. I cranked the nozzle and the water began to flow out of the shower head, onto my body, and then crashing down onto the floor beneath. I shampooedand conditioned my blonde hair quickly, and then proceeded to wash my body with the unscented bar of soap. The foam and bubbles washed off of my body quickly from the pressure of the water falling. I stepped out of the shower and grabbed the grey towel hanging on the rack. I gave my hair a quick ruffle with the towel to remove most of the excess water from it, before wrapping the towel around my waist.
