3 years later
I was backstage at August concert. He came off stage.

"You did good baby" We shared a kiss.

"Thanks baybeh" He smiled.

"I'll wait at the car" I said and walked out to the car. The kids were with their dad this weekend. Major is 9 and  Vanessa is 3. Aug finally came to the car and we headed home. We walked in took a shower and then laid down.

5:00 am

My phone started ringing I looked and seen it was prince.

"Hello" I mumbled.

"Vanessa wants you" He breathed.

"Mommy" She whined.

"Yes baby" I huffed.

"I come home" She asked.

"Why" I questioned.

"Want you" She whined.

"Nessa baby go get in bed with your brother mommy will be there later" I told her.

"Ok" She sniffed.

"I love you" I said.

"I wuv you" She kissed the phone and I hung up with a smile. I put my phone down and snuggled closer to August.

5 hours later

I got up and took a shower and did my hygiene. I walked to the closet today's outfit is red crop top, black high waist skinny jeans, red high top vans, deodorant, perfume, and gold hoops. I decided to wear my natural curls. I walked to the bed and straddled August I leaned down and kissed all over his face.

"Goodmorning angel" He smiled.

"Morning" I smiled back.

"Where you going" He flipped us over so that he was on top.

"Going to get the kids and do some shopping" I rubbed his arms.

"I'm going with cause I need some more shoes" He kissed my neck and went to the bathroom to shower and do his hygiene. He came out with his towel wrapped around his waist. His outfit was red shirt, black joggers, red high top vans, deodorant, and cologne.

"Can you do my hair" He asked.

"Yeah sit down" I moved to the edge of the bed and he sat on the floor between my legs. I combed it and brushed it. I retwisted his hair and tied his bandana for him. He got up and picked me up.

"You getting heavy mama" He grunted. I just mugged him.

"Long ass chin nataile nunn face ass" I said. He put me down.

"You ain't have to go there" He shook his head.

"You ain't have to say nothing bout my weight" I shot back.

"True i'm sorry baby" He leaned down and kissed me.

"I'm sorry to" I said.

"Let's go get my bestfriends" He picked me up and carried me to his black jeep wrangler 2016.

We arrived at Prince house and I got out. I walked to the door and knocked. Prince opened the door with Vanessa in his arms.

"Hey Nicole" He greeted me.

"Hey Dylan" I smiled.

"Major" He yelled. He handed me Vanessa.

"Hey babygirl" I kissed her cheek.

"Hi mama" She smiled.

"Mom" Major ran towards me.

"Hey baby" I laughed. I grabbed their suit case and we walked to the car. I strapped Vanessa in her seat and then I got in the passenger seat.

"Hey y'all" August looked at them through the mirror.

"Hey" They smiled showing their little dimples.

"Y'all had fun with your dad" He asked.

"No" Major mumbled.

"Yes" Vanessa squealed.

"We'll talk about it later buddy" August told Major.

"Ok" Major nodded. When we arrived at the mall August grabbed Vanessa and Major came to grab my hand.

"Ya almost taller than yo mama" August told Major.

"You short mama" Major and August laughed. Vanessa pulled August hair.

"What was that for lil mama" He asked shocked.

"No balk bout mommy" She pointed her finger.

"I'm sorry forgive me" He fake pouted.

"Yes" She said and he kissed her forehead. We walked to the shoe store and looked at the 12's.

"Can I help you" A tall dark skin dude asked.

"Yeah let me  get 4 pair of the ovo Jordan 12's sizes 1, 4, 5, and 13" I said .

"Wait a minute your August Alsina and Queen" His eyes lit up.

"Mhm" I chuckled.

"Can I take a picture with y'all" He asked. We agreed to it. He took his phone out and we took a selfie.

"Thanks so much i'll be back with the shoes" He smiled. He walked off to the back and we headed to the counter.

"Even tho ya been missing from the scene people still recognize you" August said.

"I need to get back to the studio" I said. The dude came back with our shoes and august paid.

"Y'all hungry" I asked the kids. They both nodded their head. I got us a table while August went to get a large meat lovers pizza. He came back and sat the pizza down. I passed out plates and napkins and placed a slice of pizza on everybody's plate. I got up and walked to the vending machine to get us Gatorade.

"Pick a color you want" They got their drink and I sat down to eat. To pass time we talked and joked around. It got late so we headed home. When we walked In I put Vanessa to bed. Then went to take a shower and do my hygiene. When I was done I dried off and slipped on one of August t-shirts. I crawled into bed and scrolled through insta. Pretty soon August came in looking sad. He went to do his hygiene and shower. He came out just in boxers and got in bed.

"Come cuddle wit mama" I held my arms out. He came and laid his head on my chest.

"I feel bad for Major" He mumbled.

"Why" I asked rubbing his arms.

"He told me he wishes that I was his dad instead of prince he said the whole weekend all he did was pay attention to Vanessa so he walked to King's house and Prince didn't know he was gone till King called then he said he barely ate the only time he ate was when he was with King" I didn't know I was crying till August started wiping my tears away.

"It's gone be ok things are going to get better" He kissed my cheek.

"I'm just tired" I cried. Life at this point was just worthless Major deserves so much better.

" Let's get some sleep" He pulled me closer and he held me till I feel asleep.
