Stormfeather's P.O.V
2 days later...
It was a warm November day. I was told to go hunter again. But alone. It was a new solo hunting thing my father was trying out. Before I left the camp, I said my good bye to Songfeather and headed off to do my solo hunting. I had never been around the Human Village and decided to see if they had any good prey scurrying around.
I ended up at the edge of the forest before stopping. I looked out to the village. There were less humans out at
this time of day. The sun was barley peeking over the horizon. I took and deep breath and ran into the village. I hid behind dumpsters, houses, and cars. I smelled a beautiful mouth watering scent on the other side of one of the fences. I crouched low and leaped up. I was sure I would have made it, but I was wrong. Well... half wrong...
My hind quarters were still hanging on the side I was on, while the other half my body was on the other side. I tried to push my self up but the fence was slippery from the morning dew.
After a lot of tries she flipped over to fence and fell into her back. "Ow...~" she whined. She got up and looked around. She spotted a big, fat, juicy steak in a blow bowl. I licked my chops hungrily and walked slowly towards the meat. I reached the bowl and picked up the streak in my jaws, when I turned around I saw a black and white husky with shining blue eyes. "Stealing my food?" He asked. I dropped the streak and chuckled nervously. "That-that was yours? Oops... I didn't know... i-" he cut me off. "Nah. It's fine." He said. "Oh... okay. Who are you?" I asked, tilting my head.
"Better question is, what are you and who are you?" The husky said. "Well. I am a wolf, for one. And two, tell me your name first." I growled. "Name's Dallas." The husky smiled. "Oh. Well. That's very unique." I complemented. "Thanks. Now your name."
"Oh, right. My name is Stormfeather." I informed. "Wow..." he gasped quietly. "What?" I asked. "Oh, nothing." He chuckled. I rolled my eyes.
"What bring you here?" The husky so-called Dallas asked. "Well. Food." I answered like it was obvious. "Hmm..." he hummed. There was a howl coming from the forest. "Oh. I got to go!" I gasped and ran back to the fence. "Nice meeting you. Bye!" I hurried. "'Kay. Bye." He said right before I jumped perfectly over the fence.
When I landed on the ground I looked up back at the fence. "Wow. That was unexpectedly easy." I mumbled and ran off to the forest.
