'I am neither Musa nor Firon. I am stuck between heaven and hell.'
Zayn's P.O.V:
There comes a time in life when you realise that you've lost yourself, then you realise that you never really knew yourself and then you find yourself and learn to respect what you really are. The sooner this time comes in your life, the luckier you are.
After leaving one direction, i was happy. Not neccesarily because now i was doing something i dearly loved, but also because i got rid of most of the problems i faced in there. Happy? Yes, most times. Completely satisfied? No.
There was still some emptiness inside of me. There was a part of me that i had never visited before; Pakistan. The country where my grandfather and grandmother were born, the country my father and i somehow belonged to.

"Are you sure you wanna go there alone? Its a big country, Karachi itself is bigger than the UK.", Jawaad claims as he watches me pack.
"For the thousandth time today, yes i am sure. Don't you think i know what i am doing? Plus, i have been to 'big' countries, Jawaad! And what do you know? Its not like you have ever gone there yourself. Besides, whats the worst that can happen?"
It was getting annoying now. Everyone was shocked when they got to know about me going to Pakistan. I don't know why that was so hard to believe. I get that everyone was worried for me but i dont see why.
Jawaad offered to accompany me, but i refused. I am not a little kid; I can do this alone. It's Pakistan, not another world. Humans live there.
"Do you even know the full name of Pakistan?", Jawaad half asked, half murmured while looking at his phone.
I zipped my bag and looked at him.
"No. Do you?" , I said guiltily.
"Me neither", He replied. And then we laughed.
It has always been this way.
