Ava's alarm went off waking her up. She quickly turns off her alarm and starts doing her morning routine. Once she is ready she shrugs on her book bag and heads down stairs. She quickly reached for an Apple. Her mom who is cooking bacon on the stove turned to her.

"Remember to come home early tonight! Your father and I have something we want to tell you!" Her mom says over the sound of sizzling bacon.

"I know mom! I'll be home right after archery club ends, I promise!" Ava quickly walks over to her mom and kisses her check. She then hurry out the door and starts walking to school.

~on school campus~

Ava sees her friend Lexie up ahead and decides to run up to her and sneak attack her friend with a hug. Running, she jumps up and wraps her arms around Lexie causing them to spin all while screaming "LEXIE!!!"

"WHAT!? WHAT!?" She asks seeming all panicked and worried. "I have 2 brownies today with me for lunch! Do you want one?" Ava asks Lexie. Lexie perks up at the mention of brownies, Ava knew she would, after all, brownies were one of their favorite desserts.

"Brownies!? Of Course I want some! Give Me!" Lexie says excitedly as she attempts to snatch the paper bag that held the brownies. Ava quickly pulled the bag out of Lexie's reach. She waved a finger back and forth faking a dissapointed expression . "Tsk,Tsk,Tsk. You have to wait till lunch."

"What!? No Fair!" Lexie pouts. The girls both share a glance and then burst out into laughter as they head to their class.

~At lunch~

Ava was sitting at a lunch table by her self when Lexie came running into the cafeteria still in her gym clothes. Lexie sat down at a seat across from Ava, with her eyes shining and mouth watering as Ava pulled out a big browny wrapped in a plastic wrap. Ava handed the wrapped browny slowly to Lexie. Once Lexie had the browny in her hands she quickly unwrapped the chocolate deliciousness and took a bite out of it.

Ava giggled saying "It seems that I have just fed Satan!" As she took out a browny for her self and began to ate it.

"Yeah right. I just finished a practice match against the Tigers, of course those thieving little cats won. I swear they cheated in a million ways. I mean our team got like two points that the referees disqualified because of that team! They got me all angry and that match worked up my appetite so excuse me if I'm upset and angry and eat lots of chocolate to make myself feel better!" She explained/yelled really fast.

Unlike me Lexie was practically on every team the school had right now the sport team she was on was basket ball. Lexie was a pretty good player, she was co-captin of the team. Recently she cut her hair short pixie style, saying the her long hair was getting in her way. Ava however was only in one athletic club, the archery club. She would usually keep her blonde hair in a pony tail and that would usually do the trick.

"Shoot yourself." Ava said taking another bite of her browny.

~after school~

Ava was walking to were the archery club meets for practice. She got their and after she changed into her archery outfit she grabbed her bow and headed to the shooting line. She lifted up her bow after putting on an arrow. She pulled back the draw string and took a deep breath. She concentrated on her target in front of her. She aimed for the center and let go of the string. It hit right out the side of the third ring.

Naturally she tried again as she was raising her bow she noticed the person next her shooting. Robbie. He was the best shoot out of all the club members. All his arrows landed on the center circle. She let another arrow fly and this one hit the target in the ring around the center circle,

She tried another time, and again after that. Over and over again. One time Robbie came over to her when she was out of arrows. He handed her his quiver and said "You know I can help you out if you want to hit the center." Lightly blushing she looked at Robbie and calmly said "Oh really what have I been doing that you haven't done besides obviously hitting the target?" She asked sarcastically.

"For starters you have the proper form, which would normally be a good thing but since your a girl it strains your muscles a bit too much. Also when you hold the string your arm is a bit crooked." Robbie pointed out. Ava puts on his quiver and takes out an arrow nocking it on her bow. As she raises her bow she looks at Robbie who is staring at her with an amused look.

"Care to help me? Or are you just gonna keep staring?" Ava asks clearly annoyed that she had to ask for his assistance. Robbie walked over to her as she raised the bow waiting for him to adjust her stance. Placing both of his hands on her shoulders he gently pushed her shoulders down a bit. He then moved his hands so that he tap the arm that was holding the bow up a bit higher and taped the arm that was holding the string down a bit. His movements were feather soft and light, Ava felt in tranced. Robbie then pulled away saying " Try now"

Ava did as he said and let go of the string. The arrow landed dead in the center. Ava stared at him shocked. How come that one actually hit the target? "You got to teach me how to do that on my own!" Ava said. Robbie looked at her and smiled "Okay how about this? I'll teach on one condition ...." Robbie said. Ava looked at him gesturing for him to keep going "You have to go on a date with me." He said. Ava eagerly said "Done!" Ava could see a single problem with this. Robbie was like really really cute plus he'll help her. It's a win win.

~At Her house~

Ava was sitting on her couch in her living room her parents were sitting in to chairs in front of her. Both of them were wearing identical guilty and worried expressions. Ava could feel the awkward tension growing in the room and she couldn't take it any more "Okay someone spill the beans. Fess up. What is it?"

"Sweetie your dad and I are ..." Mom started but drift off an thats when dad decided to just say it "We are getting divorced. Tomorrow."

"WAIT WHAT?! NO!! ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Ava automatically complained. I mean this can't be happening. I have a date. A date.Tomorrow. And what about school and Lexie.I promise her I'd go to her game this friday.

"I know that this might seem bad but its for the best. You see me and your Father have a very unhealthy relationship and I don't want it to effect you." Mom tries to comfort her.

"But don't you see mom!?Just by doing this it already is effecting me!" Ava complained and with that she ran up to her room.
