(Link's POV)

"Link, I'm tired!"

I groaned once again as Midna continued to nag me. I was in my wolf form on my to Ordan Village to visit (y/n), my girlfriend. Me and Midna hadn't slept for days! I was fine, Midna wasn't.

"Stop. So. I. Can. Sleep!" She ordered me while hitting my back with her tiny fist.

I growled, signaling her to stopped.

Midna scowled and hit me up side the head. "Don't you growl at me!"

I growled again and tried to buck her off my back, but she stayed there. I sighed and lowered my head in defeat, I had to find a place for her to rest while I visited (y/n).

It was the middle of the night when we reached the village, so no one saw us. I went over to the small dock by the lake and sat down. Using the Master Sword, I turned back into a human.

"You can sleep in one of the trees or something, just don't let anyone see you." I told her taking off my sword and shield for second.

"I know I know" Midna told me.

Midna had to keep a low profile so we don't scare anyone.

"Where are you going to sleep?" Midna asked me.

"In my house." I answered.

"WHAT?! Why can't I sleep there?!" Midna shouted at me.

Calmly, I answered. "Because my girlfriend is there right now."

Midna crossed her arms and pouted. She mumbled "not fair."

I chuckled at this.

"I expect a present for this, Link! It isn't fair that you get to sleep in a comfortable bed while I have to sleep in a tree!" She yelled, stomping her foot.

I laughed. "Okay okay!"

Midna huffed. "Good!"

With that, she took off.

I let out a chuckle and opened my bag. There should be some pumpkin soup in here.

My eyes suddenly widened. At the bottom of the bag sat the stone that enables me to turn into a wolf.

Strange. I gave a puzzled look at the stone. Why is this in here?

With out even thinking, I reached into the bag and grabbed the stone. Suddenly, I turned into a wolf!

I gave out a bark of fear. I completely forgot, I can't touch that stone, only Midna can!

It's okay, I can just touch the Master Sword and I'll be fine.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

I jumped and spun around to see Jaggle, Talo and Malo's father.

"THE BEAST! IT HAS RETURNED!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, causing all of the village residents to come out.

Crap! I can't turn back with him watching!

Jaggle noticed my sword and shield and growled. "You! What have you done to Link!"

Oh no...

Jaggle picked up a near by stick. Before I could react, he hit me in the head with it! I let out a whimper and staggered back. Before I could regain my balance, Jaggle kicked me into the lake!
