The first year without them
Hello my name is Nicole Jackson i am 18 and just moved to Wayne Indiana U.S.A with my parents and my best friend Anna coxford and starting a new year at R. Nelson Snider High school where i meet this cute handsome boy named danny.
I woke up this morning per usual but this time it was different I didn't hear my parents walk in the door last night after the party at their friend Ashley's house so I just thought to myself "maybe they came in when I was fast asleep and I couldn't hear them or maybe they stayed the night at Ashley's" so I walked down the hallway heading towards the kitchen in our small little farm house in fort Wayne Indiana USA to go make myself some breakfast before I went to school for my first day of grade 12 at R. Nelson Snider highschool the only person I knew there was my friend Anna she moved with me because she didn't want to live with her mum and her brother, Anna is so pretty she has blue eyes long silvery blue hair. As I was walking down the hallway I looked into my parents room and saw they weren't there so I then walked into Anna's room and woke her up in which she wasn't to happy about "what do you want Nicole why are you waking me up so early it's to early to go to school" Anna said very sleepily "well I was wondering if you knew where mum and dad are?" "They are probably still at Ashley's house they probably stayed the night" Anna said still sleepy. So i leave her room and walk to the kitchen and make myself some cereal and start getting ready for my first day of school. As i finnish up my make up i walk out to the front room and i see Anna sitting on the couch "are you ready to go Anna?" i ask while grabbing my car keys "yeah im ready" she replies.
When me and Anna finally arrive at school we hop out of the car and start walking towards the front doors. As me and Anna walk through the school doors towards the office to speak to the principle about our first day of school here.......
"Hi my name is Mrs. Chisley and I am the principle of R. Nelson Snider highschool and for your first day of grade 12 I will get our student body president danny wellingtons to show you guys where your lockers and classes are ok?" Mrs. Chisley said "thank you so much Mrs. Chisley and umm Danny was it? Thank you for helping us find our way around the school" i say to Mrs. Chisley and Danny "ya um thanks um what Nicole said" Anna said in a I don't wanna be here kind of tone.

As we where walking down the hall towards our lockers Anna asked Danny a really weird question "so um Danny do you um like Nicole"
"No!" Danny said as he looked away suddenly
"Uh huh sure you don't then why did I see you checking her out when we were walking down the hall" Anna said in a disbelief voice as I looked away and blushed not only because he was super cute and all but because he was horribly denying it.

After school when me and Anna got home we heard the house phone ring and Anna answers the phone "hello who is this" i only heard one side of the conversation but as soon as she got off the phone she was balling her eyes out and I asked her what was wrong and she said crying and stuttering "mum and dad got hit by a truck on the way home and umm... They didnt make it" as soon as I heard that I ran to my room and cryed for what seemed forever "why would they do this to me" as tears ran down my face and as my vision got blurry and cloudy my phone rang *ring ring *buzz buzz* as I slowly picked up my phone still crying I answered it not checking if there was caller ID or not "hello who is this" "it's Danny and are you alright you sound like your crying.......oh you are crying what's wrong?" Danny said in a worried voice "i just found out that my parents DIED" "OMG I AM SO SORRY IM COMING OVER RIGHT NOW WITH ICE CREAM AND TISSUES" as Danny hung up I put my phone down and put my face into my pillow and hugged it tightly i still couldn't believe my parents were gone.
