" What the hell happened?" Mariah said walking slowly with her mouth wide open.
" That's what I wanna know." Chris said looking around at all the damage.
Everything in the house was trashed. The outside was still nice but the inside was horrible. Glass shattered all on the floor, pictures torn into pieces, and the chandelier was demolished. Everything has fallen apart.
Not thinking twice, Chris called his mother immediately while Mariah was on the phone with the police.
Chris's mom said over the phone that she'll catch the next flight from New York as soon as possible.
Minutes later, the police was down at Chris's mother house investigating.
" Mr..." The officer trailed off.
" Brown." Chris stated.
" Mr. Brown. You have any idea of who've might've done this to your mothers house?" The officer asked while taking notes.
" Nah not at all. But hollap. This chick I used to date named Jazmine could've done this." Chris said.
" Can you give me some background information about this young lady?" Officer Demark said writing stuff down.
Chris gave him all the information officer Demark needed before leaving out with Mariah going to her house.
Driving to Mariah's mom house, Chris noticed that the same black tinted Cadillac has been following them for the last 10 minutes. Mariah looked over to Chris and started worrying because he kept checking his mirror and driving around in circles basically.
" Baby. What's wrong?" Mariah asked.
" Nun. Now be quiet." Chris said to her before checking his mirrors again.
" Excuse me?" Mariah said with attitude sitting all the way up.
" Fuck! Can you please do what I say for once and I fucking promise you that I'll explain what's going on when we get to your moms." Chris said driving faster, leaving the car behind in dust.
Mariah opened her mouth to say something slick, but it closed quickly.
Chris started to fell bad about the way he has been treating her. He just wanted her to be safe.
Chris grabbed her hand intertwining it with his. Luckily, she didn't pull back.
The car behind them was finally gone and Chris finally made it to Mariah's mother house.
We got out the car and as soon as Mariah got out, Chris grabbed her wrist, turning her around.
" Baby, don't be mad at me okay? When we get inside, I'll explain to you what I saw alright?" He said planting a kiss on her forehead.
" Okay." Mariah said mentally rolling her eyes.
They walked inside, being greeted by Mrs. Moore.
" Hi honey. How are you feeling?" Mrs.Moore came over to her daughter giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
" Hey mommy and um... just surprised." Mariah said shaking her head.
She was surprised that someone, no other than Jazmine, would be so dirty and do some shit like that to Chris's mother house.
" Surprised? About what?" Mrs. Moore asked curiously.
" Well, I'll let Chris tell you." Mariah said looking over her shoulder to Chris.
Chris than cleared his throat.
Chris gave Mrs. Moore the run down of what happened to his moms house, leaving her in shook.
" That's some bull shit. Excuse my language, but it really is. Like, who in the hell would really do some shit like that? " Mariah's mom said shaking her damn head.
They talked about the situation for about a couple of minutes until Chris decided to get ready and go back to his apartment he bought last mouth.
" Okay baby, I'm about to head out and gone on home. I'll call in you in the morning." Chris said walking to Mariah giving her a hug.
" I don't want you to leave." Mariah pouted wrapped her arms around him.
" I'll be back in the morning. Promise." He said.
" Pinky promise." Mariah said holding out her pinky.
Chris chuckled. " Pinky promise." He said wrapping his pinky around hers.
" Okay, now give me some sugar." Chris said.
Mariah eventually gave in and gave him a long, tasteful kiss.
"Alright I'll see you later." He said tapping her in the butt heading to the door.
" Okay. Bye love." Mariah called as he opened the door.
" Bye Mariah." Chris said before closing the door.
Mariah then walked over to the door, locking it before sliding down it.
" My baby." She smiled, putting her hand on her heart.
