It was the middle of Math class and I had free time. I felt kinda lonely since no one I know is in my math class.
I could hear people talking about me. I couldn't hear but I can tell they aren't nice things.
I looked down letting the hair get in my face. I was practicing my drawing. Even though it sucked.
For some warm ups, it wasn't that bad.

The teacher walked in and I quickly hid my sketchbook into my backpack.
"Students! I would like you to all meet Vylad Ro'Meave. He will be in our math class for the rest of the year!"
His name hit me like a truck. I mentally and physically twitched.
I looked up to see my baby brother-- Vylad.. Just Vylad, walk up to me.
"Hi Garroth!" He said cheerfully. I just nodded.
"Uh.. Mom wanted me to give you this..." His voice was now filled with sadness. I looked at what was now on my table. A little box. I stared at it for awhile and just grabbed it, putting it into my backpack.
"Thanks. I guess."
"You know I know how you feel. Even though I'm your half sibling, I know what's it's like to have a different family for a bit."
I just nodded not knowing what to say. I didn't WANT to say anything else.
"Oh and mom left a package for you at the front office. Probably most of your things dad hasn't destroyed."
I nodded.
"The box has something mom really didn't want dad to break... So be lucky she grabbed it before dad could do anything to it."
"Yeah.. Ok." I put my earbuds on and just listened to music, blocking out everything around me. Until I got a message.
