During the movie I noticed Jess looking at me with amusement as I held my stomach since it hurt from laughing. When the movie had reached a calm part Jess stretched out her arm over my shoulder and I, for one, did not complain. Of course not, this is what I wanted, her closer.

I smiled at the gesture and she was comfortable, what could make this moment better? The movie had ended and Jess turned to face me, "I know you didn't call me over just to watch some movie." she commented confidently, surely she thought I had other intentions and maybe I did.

I blushed and looked away, "I just wanted your company." I said shyly more to myself than her. Without another word she got up and I felt disappointed but only until I heard her turn on the stereo and Alkaline 'Company' played through the speakers.

She smiled and walked over to the couch sitting comfortably, looking ahead at the credits that slid down the screen, her expression seemed, expecting.
