These words were a cry in her heart, she wanted to let them out and say them out loud. However she was afraid, afraid of the monster she loved.A monster she was tied to for life she remembered the words that had sealed her fate "till death do us part."Those were the words that had left her in this situation. She heard the sound of the key as the door was wrenched open.She braced herself for everything that would be thrown at her.He staggered into the house and fell on the couch.
"Regina,Regina where is that stupid woman"he shouted at the top of his lunges.
Like a sheep to the slaughter she silently went and knelt in front of him with his food. He stared disgusted at the plate of pap and cabbage in front of him.
"You dare bring such trash to me?"
"There was no money to buy meat"she said still kneeling.
He threw the plate which landed on her with its contents.
"You work for money you wench, get out of my way"he said as he dragged himself off the couch and kicked her.
"You are a disgrace"he spitted the words as he walked away.Leaving her lying on the floor.Regina meaning queen was her name but here she was on the floor lying there with no one to hold her or love her.She was a disgrace to the man who had swore to love her in sickness and in health for rich or for poor
