I was in Geography with my best friend, Stella, sitting next to me. A girl in our class, Belinda, told the girl sitting next to her( Gabby) who Stella had a crush on. Gabby then got up and went over to George ( Stella's crush) and told him that Stella liked him. Unfortunately, not only did George hear her loud and clear, but so did the rest of the class. Everyone then started calling her names like sl** and wh***. You may be asking 'didn't the teacher do something'? Well the teacher didn't hear what was going on. And then there's the question of 'what did I do'? Nothing. I sat there, oblivious to what my friend was doing, what everyone else was doing. I didnt stand up for her because I was too afraid of getting suspended for swearing at them all. So when the bell went for first break she was out the door, I was trying to catch up to her but she was too fast. I got to our bench several seconds after her. Our group of friends crowded around her, I pushed through the crowd to be by her side, but I couldnt help but feel guilty for it all, I was just as bad as them. Because of this incident, Stella went home early and didnt go to school for the rest of the term ( there was under two weeks left of the term). I felt awfully lonely without her in maths the next day,I missed her quietly asking me for help during the exam. To be honest I hated it.
